Plt would have been controlling all of its own customers data - it is a listed entity in itself on companies house therefore would have all the data on its own system.

The fact that they have now shared this data with debenhams tells me they are about to lump pretty little thing in with the labels on the Debenhams market place....

In order to make it look "turbo charged" for fools to think debenhams is growing....

You do crack me up though with all these silly excuses - back in August last year you were saying it was a done deal and Dan couldn't have hinted anymore that it was sold but just couldn't be done by the Friday.... Now you are saying they are making changes in order to sell plt a full 6 months after it was put up for sale! Slight contradiction there lad eh....

If it was really up for sale and those changes with data needed to be made then surely they would have made then last August??

Plt is to be lumped on debenhams very soon....

Group revenue including plt is heading for a 30 per decline which is the single biggest decline to date in both pounds and percentage - which is really something when you consider revenue has already fallen from 2 billion to 1.2 per annum.

Lets all talk about debenhams while both boohoo and plt have declined 41 percent in h1 yoy...

Once upon a time both boohoo and plt were in that list....

Surprised nobody else is alarmed they have dissappeared.

I don't think jd was pumping out anything like the revenue losses below, let alone a share price decline of 95 percent?

Spend wasn't revised as far as I can see - are you confusing footfall with spend?

3.6 billion spend down from 4.6 last year.

I suppose the really concerning bit is that online sales have now hit an all time high since the pandemic, yet youth brands have continued to lose revenue and have in fact accelerated to a 41 percent decline compared to h1 last year... Topped with Karen millen losing over 30 percent of its revenue in h1 this year compared with last years h1....

With debenahams growth declining from 33 percent last year to 20 percent this year whilst the brands doubled from 10k to 20k in the same period.... Does that not tell us that the 10k brands that were listed last year are now selling less on debenhams this year than they were last year? So the brands that are listed on debenhams have seen a decline in their own sales

Surely its simple maths that if you double the brands on a platform and the gmv declines from 33 percent to 20 percent in that same period then that means they are all sell less??

Youth brands already down 41 percent on last years h1..... Full year group numbers could be crushed further.

Next has been led by one man for 25 years.... A proper businessman and not a car boot trader.

Fed - inditex has already been a recovery play.

Nobody seems to want to face the fact that since 4 major things have happened, performance has actually worsened in dramatic fashion....

1 - JL leaving

2 - Umar returning

3 - Mahmud taking over youth brands

4 - Dan taking over the group

Since the above 4 things happened revenue decline has actually accelerated to record levels, so much so they have had to hide plt numbers to mask it.

The only thing that has helped a tad with losses is the fact they mass dumped staff that should have been cut years ago and 35 million inflow from the lease.

This is a sinking ship throwing staff overboard to try and save weight and slow the decline.

So plt is being sold yet debenhams keeps all the customers details??

If debenahams are now housing all customer details then it suggests to me plt isn't being sold.

Just look at the revenue by year for zara compared with this show.
