This little wave of hopium will soon start to dwindle while waiting 6 - 7 months for the next set of numbers....

I've not seen one single person here put together a bull case for this company...they are more interested in worrying about me for some reason.

So people want to forget the past lets just have a look at the most recent numbers -

Revenue -23%

Youth brands - 41%

Gross p -24%

Now bear in mind those numbers don't include the disaster of plt which would likely take both gmv and revenue to well over a 35 percent decline

What is really going on to drive those declines?

Not enough staff left?

Not enough money left?

Something isn't right that's for sure.

What is the current cash position??

I wonder if anyone can point me in the direction of the last successful saye or management incentive scheme?

Yeh I was giving them the benefit of the doubt to some degree as they didn't bother to mention which gmv they were talking about so I pointed out the one that really matters which actually made the blunder not so bad

Boohoo reported a gmv decline of 23 percent for h1 of this current year

Then in their video presentation the posted a chart showing -

q1 as minis 30.9 percent

Q2 as minus 24.1 percent

These numbers were being presented by the new cfo and he doesn't even seem to seem the error he is presenting - he is the group cfo and he can't even do basic math.

Do you not see the error?

It wasn't long ago they were continually comparing current figures to 2 and 3 years ago to try and hide just how bad the declines were, then when that trick ran out they took plt off the table.

In Dans presentation he apparently couldn't have been more obvious in saying plt was done deal and sold to shein - it appears that many posters here read his message wrong as well as his number 40 slide.

Hexam they seem to give out more random numbers than a national lottery machine!

I think on that particular slide where they show gmv by quarter, they have actually included plt on q1 and q2 and then left it out on q3 and November to try and show some recovery in the gmv decline... But then in the h1 results they have left plt out when stating the 23 percent decline in gmv for h1.

I've never know a company slip and slide their numbers so much to suit each set of results.

You do realise that the numbers in the h1 results are "what the business says"....

Such as youth brands revenue is down 41 percent yoy...

Group revenue excluding debenhams has actually fell from a peak of 1.9 billion down to around 550 - 600 million this current year.... "the core business you might say"
