Travelling to newyork and looking about the place this week, so far I've not seen a single advertisement in any of the airports or any billboards anywhere, absolutely nothing about any of the brands - it's like they no longer exist, 5 - 6 years ago it was everywhere in the Airports and even billboards in new york. I think thi explains the declining youth brands.... They have cut costs and damaged revenue in the process.

Very interesting to see how much superdry is about the place though, stores, advertising and every third person wearing a superdry coat or hoodie.

I don't see how frasers selling will cause a rise tbh - if they sell the lot this will only go one way.

People actually still believe this share price fell because frasers was buying - is not now obvious they were supporting the share price?

They finished buying in the mid to high 20s and it then went on down to 10p after that.

Every single down turn in the sp has been result of shocking performance.

Frasers probably can't believe their luck this has risen off the back of terrible results and are dumping as a result.

Youth brands is about to lose another 300 million in revenue this year but debenhams will add 30 so don't worry apparently.... Hiding plt seems to have done the world of good!...

6 months later and still plt isn't sold.... Looks like dan wasn't telling the truth when he hinted at shein being the buyer... Maybe even shein were surprised to hear that they were a potential buyer??

Lord knows what would have happened here if frasers wasn't a holder!!

Last year youth brands lost 250 million of revenue meanwhile debenhams added just 20 million of revenue.

This was off the back of 10000 listed brands producing 33 percent gmv growth for Debenhams..com

This year currently they have 20000 brands listed culminating in 20 percent gmv growth - so how much revenue will that add? 30 million? Meanwhile all other brands are looking like losing 300 million of revenue with the 41 percent decline in h1 this year

So this year 300 million revenue is disappearing on youth brands and debenhams.com gaining 30 million revenue .. Sounds amazing!

No surprise that the minute Mahmud took ownership off youth brands their revenue went off a cliff from a 21 percent decline to a 41 percent decline... He has spent 5 years destroying revenue and burning company money like it's going out of fashion.

Funny nobody here was able to predict the 41 percent decline in youth brands via similarweb.... I've not one seen similarweb correlate to sales up or down.

Who knows wibblewobble - but going from one shop to where he is now certainly took some vision... Most companies are expanding with shops meanwhile frasers are expanding with with shopping centres.

From the end of 2022 into 2023 the short position went from over 10 percent down to near 3 percent, so the the majority of shorts exited at that point so they missed the move from 40p down to 10p - the point is people seem to try and judge a situation by a short position and it's nonsense.

Except the majority of shorts positions exited in 2023.

People don't seem to understand that boohoo group is on target for its worst year of revenue loss in pounds and percentage...

The currently have less than 30 million pounds in the bank...

If you take the time to look at h1 along with last years full results, and also take into account what companies house is showing for the brands you will see it's been completely destroyed....

Everything well and truly destroyed all in the name of pumping debenahams...

Ashley left his stake in sports direct/frasers and has built a business and huge successful property portfolio within the group for all shareholders.

The kamanis took large part of their stake out and built a property portfolio that drains the company money meanwhile filling their pockets.... The greed has been punished though....

Interesting nobody called a dodgy UT on Friday close, in fact it was stated here by a few users as the final closing price.... Now the share price is down 6 percent it's dodgy...

The only thing i can think is that the -31.9 and -24.1% include the figures for plt where at the h1 -19% figure doesn't?

If true then the plt figures are possibly worse than I thought.

I also note Dan again saying the brands are profitable and forgetting to state it's on an adjusted ebitda basis.

I must admit I did look at 2026 gmv decline in q1 figure of -31.9% and then the q2 figure of -24.1% wonder how H1 total decline could be -19% ?

Is that not a mathematical impossibility?

I also noticed a whole load of other misinformation in that presentation

For instance they chose to use plt social media figures while negating to mention the revenue decline in plt

"Go and watch the H1 presentation southcoast and then you will see the current revenue reduction figure for November"

Ok ill play the same game - this is an outright lie as they do not mention revenue at all for November.

I am talking revenue which is what matters - thats the real number that sit in boohoo accounts. Over half of the gmv number sits on other companies accounts.

Bf I have watched the presentation to find what you are talking about.

They are referring to gmv declines rather than revenue, they are also only giving a comparator by each quarter through one financial year - even you must be admit this is a poor way to compare as retail sales do improve through the year and especially so from August through to December, and then come January they go off a cliff and the process starts all over again. The real comparison would have been if they compared vs last year's declines.

I like the but where they say market place sales now equate for 31.6 percent vs 19 percent last year - what would that figure be if plt ia taken into account?

As for the capital lite bar chart for the fy22 bar they may as well have labeled it Mahmuds ego, and the same for fy21 which they have left off for some reason 🤔.

The staffing numbers are quite enlightening as I think I was the only one to point out they needed to dump thousands of staff which they finally did.

No matter what numbers they try to portray, this years total revenue inc plt will be down around 850 - and that is the biggest single revenue decline to date by a long shout!

Is that group wide revenue or youth brand revenue?

And what was the revenue percentage they quote for Nov?
