Looking into FT 011 that was being developed by Fibrotech, it was a compound with Tranilast back in 2011.

Fibrotech was then bought by Shire Pharma, which was then bought by Takeda Pharma of Japan last year. So they will have all the Tranilast info to hand.

Difficult to find what happened with FT 011, there were some clinical tests underway but gone quite since Takeda came on the scene.

So two separate streams. The above funded by the recent placing, and the other funded (in whole or in part?) by Innovate.

Just saying its interesting. There are plenty of other manufacturers of tranilast, wonder if they hold any safety data etc?

They mention RIzaben once in the 2019 annual report, but just in the company history. They don't even bother in the 2020 report.

Its interesting Kissei never mention Tranilast or Rizaben etc in any of their final results or documentation. Not a single mention.

I see tocilizumab and sarilumab are getting press from positive results in helping treat Covid patients in ICU.
The key thing being the IL-6 receptor was identified alongside NLRP3 as a key area for investigation.

Mars, I would read the 'additional licensing deals' with the understanding that they are in discussions on licensing for one aspect of the drug, the work would potentially open up further avenues of treatment which could be licensed under separate deals.
So not completed, but opening up further opportunities that could lead to other deals.

Cash burn is usually around 100k per month but won't be evenly spread as such, so not possible to say when they will need further funding.

Not expecting the Innovate grant to be very much so who knows whats happening. The only issue I have is that with the applications closing on 20th Jan, then it'll be a while before they are assessed and decided. So the company had better be getting on with the work in the meantime.

Don't know why they felt the need to disclose they were seeking a grant? You'd expect them to seek all sources of funding all the time.

This mornings sp action is a bit of a false drop, its only marked down on the uncrossing trade, all others are at a par with where it ended yesterday.
But agree with the sentiment, would be good to see something materialise. Might be a week or two into the start of the year and hope the current lockdown doesn't slow things further.

Indeed Viking, yes Q1 updates on the NXP's, we were just talking about the work for Vista which the company said would be updated last year.

Indeed FX, we know there isn't a clause as such as they previously said they would inform the market of the outcome within the quarter after the Full years were released back in July.

At least Vistagen are having a good time up 500% since the collaboration deal was signed.
