Chab, the Ebers / Kelly Ventures RTO announcement (21st Dec) refers to Ebers having collaboration agreements which includes NFX.
Then the press from ten days ago directly references Ebers collaboration with NFX.

FX, the key thing is to look at the 'assignee' that is the owner of the patent. As far as I know Ebers Tech Inc. only have one public patent, they may have others in the pipeline but not yet in the public domain.

Interestingly the Triclinic patent was from before Ebers was incorporated as a company, so doesn't necessarily negate any work with NFX, after all we wouldn't expect a global pharma to work exclusively with only one other company would we.

FX, I could only find the one patent for Ebers which I posted. Which others did you find?

Looking further at the supporting documents, its actually a bizarre coincidence!

Looks like the inventor is actually a David T Joanitis of Triclinic Labs, Brookston Indiana.

Interesting chap named on the 'inventors' of the Ebers Patent, Nathan Schultheiss.

He seems to be spanning the Oilfield and Cannabinoid chemistry fields at the same time. Had a decent spell at Halliburton.

Sparkington, nothing more than chancing across that news whilst searching on google. It was a simple search of just ‘Ebers Tapolczay’. Sometimes it’s the luck of the draw.

If Ebers released a product tomorrow then it would be highly likely NFX would be due a sizeable milestone payment. So monies would be quick.

We know that NFX will receive milestone payments when Ebers reach development targets, and we haven’t had notification of those yet, so it’s not likely that they have undertaken the next stages. These should now be forthcoming.

I doubt they would RNS the Ebers news on its own as its indirect to the company. But it would be good for them to provide an update, in which they could include Ebers plans.

Yeah revenues aren't really the thing, its more the milestone payments first as Ebers develop products from the patents. Thats where the £51m occurs, then the royalties follow.

We’ve know Tapolczay has been involved for the past 12 months, that’s nothing new.

Time will tell....

Kelly Ventures is just a shell company specifically set up for this purpose, their founder specialises in this.

And in terms of timelines, I don't know much on RTO's but the following document suggests in Canada they take typically 3 to 6 months. Which would place completion somewhere between mid-March and mid-June. Maybe quicker?
