Looking at PlusVitech whilst they may be competition for Oxilio, that shouldn't put Ox off as nobody would do anything if they were scared of competition.

The key thing for Ox is that they are licensing a patented cocrystal of aprepitant, PlusVitech don't work with cocrystals so are not in the same sphere, they are trying to use aprepitant in a different delivery method.

Like everyone else, I'm hacked off that the sp is down here, I'd much rather be at the 3.4p end of the range, but I am more sanguine about the Ox deal now.
If NFX were fine accepting a low ball offer then it would have happened by now. It feels more like there has been an agreement in principle and Ox are now sorting their funding to meet it.

Exactly Whimax, pharma's tend not to snap up much in pre-clincal stage as its the most risky point in the process. They tend to wait till clinical stages and pay more as the drug advances.

FX, that will only come with Oxilio, NXP002 and 004 are long term as has previously been set out by the company.

NFX are a tiny company focussing on a narrow stream, so news opportunities are scarce.

Looking at the finals, JH and DG still hold their options, and rightly Alex Eberlin has been granted some as well.

All as expected, more of an exercise of clearing the decks from the last year. At the beginning of June they said 'later in the year' for NXP002 and 004 news so probs later August / September.
Oxilio news is dependent on them getting some cash, so who knows when.

It doesn't take that long to put together, particularly given the lack of revenue in the second half of the last year.

It always has been a science project (they started it back in 2008), one that the company will then license the IP from. The company were never going to roll it out themselves.

FX, I guess Anne has always said that the approach is for 'data driven' business deals. Hence it has always been to prove up NXP002 as an inhaled formula.
Hopefully pretty soon they will be in the position of having;
a) Secured patent covering NXP002
b) Successful feasibility proving the product can be effectively delivered using an inhaler.
