The outcome if they can't find finance is obvious, they can't then close the license deal leaving NFX to take elsewhere.

I would make the point that in the first part of the agreement after September, Oxilio were carrying out their studies on whether they could use NXP001 in the manner they wished to do. So the fact they took up their option shows they want the product.

As for holding off to squeeze NFX, they can do that, but run the risk that the product already has proven clinical trials for other indications and they risk NFX walking away accepting they'll take a short term hit to an already bombed out shareprice.

My own view is that an agreement has been reached already, pending incoming funding to Oxilio.

FX, correct that we has a specific type of Aprepitant, notably it is a cocrystal formed with L-proline.

The significance is that this cocrystal is far less complex in formula compared to base Aprepitant, so in theory should be easier to reformulate to suit the needs of Oxilio.

This is why Oxilio news is important, its the only short term item that can help re-gain confidence in the company.
We can wait and wait for NXP002 and 004, but we know that takes time. There is even the question of what happens if they don't get data back before Anne leaves? They've already pushed it back from Q3 to Q4 since the placing.

DM2000, if they are waiting for a takeover then the board should be actively seeking to support the shareprice in the interest of shareholders.
Otherwise it gets sold down and the takeover would be very low ball.

I think the board / Anne needs to make a statement on NXP001 with a timeline. Its all very well saying 'negotiations are ongoing' but they must have an understanding of when they want to close them out.

Again looking like someone wants out quick. Big sells and piddly buys.

The problem is not so much speculation as to timings, all the talk is of data 'later in the year' which just says to anyone, why bother investing now when you won't hear anything for months.

NFX has been a traders stock since the placing and currently are at 90% of shares in issue traded since end of March which just shows how little sticky hands there are here.

Its all about Ox to regain confidence, and since its been 4 months now since the option was taken up then it is more and more under question.
