Ox is the key short term.

In essence, its a good opportunity short term, sat at the bottom of the Allenby fair value range (they won't have predicted AB leaving if no-one else did)

senseman, I'm just curious, you've said you've held a large amount of NFX shares for 8 years.

Its interesting because Levrett was only started in 2015 and then NFX reversed into it in October 2017.

Yet, you seem to have got shares before both were publicly available. Are you an insider? Or just making things up?

aj, firstly read the finals. Secondly, if she was on silly money then its very unlikely she would leave.

Nuformix is a tiny company with low revenues, it is not able to pay big salaries. Hence the risk of losing a CEO with no skin in the game.

Senseman, thank you for your first posts on the NFX board, as you invested 8 years ago before NFX listed back in 2017 your input will be most welcome.
As you post daily on LSE since 2019, can you tell us why you never posted on any NFX topic before when you have held longer than even Dan Gooding or Jo Holland.

Firstly, Anne isn’t selling houses on the side. It’s almost as if you are pretending to forget how consultants operate.
Secondly, the highest paid person at NFX was paid 97k, and I know for a fact that wasn’t Anne. So hardly ‘silly money’

In all fairness Mars, you don't get invited to be MD of J&J over a weekend by some friends.

All good scenarios whimax, the only comparison I have was earlier this year and an Associate Director I work with announced their plan to leave. We had a six week period partly, trying to get them to stay as they're good at what they do, but also managing a plan for how we communicated their departure to clients. So there are ways of handling.

As you say I get the feeling it was likely something over the weekend and Anne handed her notice in on Monday.

Anyway, its set in motion now. As I say, I would really like her to close out Oxilio asap to try and regain some confidence back in both her commitment and the company.

Hear what you're saying Whimax, I think its more that she seems to have accepted and then issued the RNS before telling the board. Or at least very short timespan between the two.

As the finals didn't have to be issued until September at the latest, she may have at least approached the Chairman to delay a few days so he could adjust his statement appropriately, but as it is she has embarrassed him by resigning within days of his statement saying there is a good team in place.

FX, I get the common courtesy bit, but I think it all happened within the past week. As Riddell says in the letter, he had already written his Chairmans statement then Anne gave her notice.

Plus, everyone else is Non-Exec, so not involved on a daily basis. Their meetings may only be monthly or perhaps bi-weekly, so it is probably more likely that she got the offer and accepted prior to any board meeting.

FX, the Asian party (or parties) who have previously been in discussion will obviously be aware, as for 'ready for engagement' we won't know without insider info.
I don't know enough about how a BD agent would operate to know whether they make first contact or not, sorry.

For me, Anne has two tasks now, close out Oxilio (and I would like that doing in the very near term as its been 4 months now) and then to see the successful receipt of data for NXP002 and NXP004, with potential new patent application for the latter.

From todays letter. Anne will just be bringing in the data package not the licensing deal. Prior to all this anyway, she needs to close out the Oxilio deal that is now due to revive the sp.

"As previously disclosed, we are expecting important readouts on the progress with NXP002 and NXP004 later in 2021 and positive outcomes on these will trigger licensing discussions with key players. Should this be the case, we will engage expertise in business development to pick up these projects."

Note - "... we will engage expertise in business development..."

All very quiet again now, I'll assume I have permission to speak.

All on Oxilio in the short term now with the 'ongoing discussions', hopefully get a positive close to those after 4 months.
