Absolutely. Even if, as I suspect, something significant is going on in the background, there is no excuse whatsoever for poor communication. A courtesy response would at least demonstrate that somebody has an interest in engaging with shareholders.

Oh I agree. Appalling comms currently. The positive I take is that clearly they aren’t pumping the price for a raise!

Still no reply from two emails to investor relations sent in the last 10 days. Also interesting that, according to LinkedIn, CFO John Doyle oversees both mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. Is he too busy with something currently?

Have you seen the SNG share price today after this RNS? Same event that DDDD are presenting at, though we get no RNS.

Eerily quite on this board, from 4D and in terms of trades. All so strange : )
Calm before the storm.

I'll be honest, the longer this RNS drought goes on the more positive I become about something happening in the background. 46 days (as of today) is totally unheard of for 4D in the last 4 years and given that they are a bigger, more developed and more active company now that makes it even more unusual. Possible we will get an RNS for the ATS 22 presentation but it does seem likely (to me at least) that something bigger is going on. I would be perfectly happy with an Oxford finance update but do believe there is something much more significant happening, yet to be revealed.

Good to keep feet on the ground and not get too far ahead of ourselves, you are right @crl. The pieces certainly do seem to be coming together to create a potentially very positive picture but you never know in life or in business what can come along come to derail the best of plans. Quietly confident.

Some excellent posts today and MHB yesterday. Seems an ideal time for Merck to put in an offer doesn't it. Lets see what this week brings. I do think we are getting very close..... : ) 45 days since last RNS.

Yes, out of office/sickness auto response is very easily done. Which means, IMO, either poor IR (which needs addressing) or keeping quiet currently for reason.

Just something interesting to note. I had sent an email to 4D investor relations on Thursday 5th seeking some clarity from them, perfectly polite, just wanting some questions answered. That email wasn’t responded to. Followed it up again on the morning of Thursday 12th to enquire as to why the first didn’t receive a response. Albeit just 48 hours since, I’ve not heard back from that either. I am left to wonder why this is. My only conclusion is that it’s;
Poor investor relations (or perhaps, in fairness, IR off sick) OR Knowing they have news in the pipeline that will alleviate my concerns
I don’t know which is the correct reason but it is incredibly odd that we are experiencing very atypical RNS releases (44 days now since the last), extremely limited social media presence (bar the very good recent podcast) and now IR are stonewalling investors….. or me at least! : ) Something is going on I’m convinced.

Leaks certainly do happen. I’m not suggesting that the company would announce something market sensitive in a presentation, I think you misunderstood my comment. My suggestion of a leak is in relation to a slight uptick in the SP earlier. I’m well aware that they can’t formally announce something market sensitive in a presentation.

Crusty, you are a bit naive if you think things don’t leak out. Rumours and news are hard to contain. Usually RNS’s follow soon after but who knows. It’s certainly been too long without an RNS.

The best video/interview Duncan has done IMO. Clean shaven, more animated, looked and sounded positive and enthusiastic. Did NOT look like someone that was concerned about the future of the company and I don't think that Duncan is one of those people that can hide his emotions well, or fake them. Much better, and great to see! : )

That's what we need isn't it @MHB. When it becomes obvious that the conditions are going to be met, and I think they will be, then we can stop all of this shorter talk of placing and we will see something of a more significant and sustained rise.

@Buyhigh, we know (or at least, I personally believe) that this share could multibag i.e 2/3/4x from here very quickly, and much more longer term. With that potential comes the possibility that it could rise and fall by significant amounts in one day. This is not Lloyds which doesn't have that multibag potential and on most days might go up or down by 1% or less . Not saying its not frustrating, it is, but we have to be prepared for significant fluctuations in order to realise significant gains here.

Is everyone just keeping their heads down and keeping quiet because the share price is going up? Don't want to jinx it! ; )

To address the other discussion. If a placing was likely then 4D would be doing all it could to pump the share price to enable that process to be more beneficial, raise more funds and reduce dilution. They aren't, in fact they seem to be doing exactly the opposite.

Maybe I should double check who I am with the wife, although she often calls me lots of other names that I can’t repeat on here!
Part of Sangs MO it seems is to sow seeds of doubt about others to try to undermine them, particularly those that are disagreeing with him. To be honest, I don’t care who anyone is as long as we have reasonable, balanced debate on here. Definitely don’t want to keep hearing the same repetitive story that Sang is pushing about the Oxford cash etc. I’m sure the BoD have a plan and do seem confident. Let’s see what happens.
