An update from Graham regarding 'his little plan in the next 4-6 months' would be most welcomed here.
Are we likely to receive any news here prior to the Phase 2 update at end of Feb?
Any thoughts?
Ericnat17,
Lets hope you are right regarding both Phase 2 and the for sale sign.
Hoping for good news to land here before end Feb regarding Phase 2.
Maybe that would finally add something to the SP??!
Great news.
The board of directors doing exactly what they are saying.........well done Graham and the team!!
With more bigger news to land re Phase 2 (within 60 days) thing are looking very positive for the first time in a long time.
'Underpinned'........only just taken a look here as Christmas has been keeping me busy.
Didn't mean to light the touch paper here, but purely meant that based largely on sentiment and some clearly mapped out future milestones that i thought the share price might stabilise at 3p. This IMO would be based on Phase 1 contracts being approved and some more confidence returning.
I concur Spencer.
With Phase 1 across the line and IMO I'm thinking the SP will remain underpinned at 3p.
Wanting, but not really expecting more news until New Years Eve personally.
If correct, then that’s a really prevalent point.
Is anyone aware of what the calculation for this potential adjustment would be?
Agreed - 2022 will a transformational year for sound.
Given the 'long stop' working in the RNS these contracts could be signed off anytime soon and as early as next week.
The day isn’t over yet…..
Might still get an update later
To know that there is a valuation of 8.2p with Phase 1 and 2 agreed makes it a likely 4 bagger from here.
Phase 1 (probably being within 48 hrs) and Phase 2 contracts and further announcements to come by end Feb 2022 may now make this quite a temping share to be invested in (IMO).
We know the horst is largely untouched and will need a farm in (or deal) but regardless, the potential upside here really could be huge. Especially from a mere 2p.
Just DYOR and decide but it feels like timing is good and the board of directors are delivering, and will continue to do so.

As an LTH I never thought that I would be so pleased to see the SP touch 2p
Ducati2 - Interesting and informative posts again from you
Useful to have on this BB
Thanks :)
Sounder, 'buy out? '
Further down the line - I think there is a possibility if/when Phase 2 GSA is approved, and with Phase 1 across the line that it could be a farm option, but a buy out, or partial sale could be tempting if Graham has other plans to develop the business as he has eluded too.
All speculative at this stage, but with the extent/opportunity of this huge licenced asset and the big boys already as our neighbours then there is a chance.
The market finally opening its eyes to the longer term potential here.
With key milestones set out here at 17th December - Phase 1
and Phase 2 - 89 days away for further news
its hardly an eternity to wait for a potential 4-5 bagger from here.
(admittedly with an 18-24 wait for production, but comes with near as damn it a 10 year guarantee)
Lots to now like and 2p still looking cheap as chips IMO
More great news today for Sound Energy!
It finally feels like this has now leaped forward in terms of both Phase 1 and Phase 2 projects.
Well done Graham and the team!!
BIg news this today for Sound Shareholders!!
More good news to follow here with Phase 1 contracts too.
So good to see Graham and the team delivering this long awaited Phase 2 GSA for all stakeholders.
That's definitely realistic if good news lands in the next week
Ps - I kind of agree, yet disagree with elements too.
You are right in terms of terms of Sound Energy's independent valuation which clearly only really shows longer term share price value based on Phase 2 development with a current SP value of about 1p with Phase 1 contracts in place.
However, I would suggest that this may not quite be accurate now in terms of the longer term SP with Phase 1 contracts actually across the line which IMO would differ from the last two or three lifts (then fall back) in SP as at those time there was so many unknowns and the longer term future of Sound Energy was in doubt . My rationale for disagreeing being, Sound Energy would now become a sustainable and profitable company for over the next 10 years with approx income of £25-40million a year (year on year for 10+ years). This amount would not only give the opportunity to create a long term financially secure future for Sound with the huge upside of Phase 2 contracts intended to complete in the next year or so with sound being keen to maximise the revenue over the 10 year TAX holiday period in Morocco, but also having such a large slice of existing licenced area to further explore and then profit from.
Although I accept your caution and logic with informing investors based on past antics and the 98% drop in SP I still think that the new BOD are clearly achieving key milestones (albeit with slipped timescales) with a clearly defined and set out long term plan business which is coming together bit by bit.
As Graham as stated, we may never get back to those dizzy heights of the previous SP, but he will aim to give long term value here and I believe the next milestone will change perspectives for some and may well make Sound a more viable long term company to invest in.
We will see when news lands!
GLA investers
Keepto - its a good question and I will resist the temptation to speculate.
I will speculate in saying that we will hear and know the answer quite soon though. Probably timed with news of the Phase 1 - contracts which (at this stage) should be within the next two weeks.
GLA
News due here very soon and personally I am confident that Phase 1 - Notice to Proceed will land in the next few weeks.
The Phase 2 ONEE GSA should also be confirmed after that - prior to January (IMO)
Phase 2 financing could already be mapped out in principle (or not?) - Graham does want to run things as parallel as he can so we will see.
Lots to potentially look forward too but my patience is always somewhat tested with this share.
