I must admit that I thought it been alluded to by Graham in one of the last interviews that there had been a couple of additional late interests to the table from far bigger companies than sound?

I don't really want to get carried away with speculative stuff, but does anyone else remember this being said, or did I just imagine it?

Agreed - It feels like the longest wait ever to receive this Phase 2 funding news.

I note the exclusivity date from the agreement had now also passed.

It just leaves more questions in my mind

Is it possible an alternative offer is now being considered outside of the exclusivity period, hence the delay?

Or is it just taking far more time than expected to get this funding deal signed?

Either way, all investors will be keen to get a comprehensive update on the 13th?!!

Personally I am keeping my fingers crossed for positive news prior.

I would think the optimum time to buy these shares now given the current SP, latest tax agreement update, and imminent Phase 2 funding decision likely to happen in the next month or so, and of course Phase 1 revenue being generated from 2024. LOTS TO LIKE! HERE!

Despite the 6 week extension, its certainly true that this could now be signed off much sooner.
This still leaves a small window of opportunity to buy cheap shares here as a re-rate is on the cards once the Phase 2 funding has been confirmed.

Disappointing its not quite done, but it must surely be very close to have only extended the deadline by 6 weeks.
For the right deal, it will be well worth it long term for all shareholders.

Personally I disagree and am looking forward to gauging how negotiations are going from this Q&A.
Keeping investors informed (to me) is important and that's all they are trying to do.
The extension and deadline for negotiations was always set until 15th March and I suspect that Graham and the Team may have thought (as mentioned in last Q&A) that there would be a material update for us all in February.
Unfortunately this hasn't landed in the form of an RNS just yet (for unknown reasons to all) which seems to have upset a few (probably minority) with the timing of this Q&A .
I and its disappointing after waiting so long with the already extended timeframes but the expression' dammed if you do and dammed if you don't' springs to mind for the BOD's.
If Graham and the team negotiate the best deal for shareholders long term then I will be happy.

Attendance of the Q&A is optional is people think its of no benefit.

Joe - I do agree in that respect that its unfortunate timing, but at least we will be updated with ongoing developments and whether the BOD's are on track with everything. I think we should at least be able to decipher this from the q&a.
Lets just hope that there are no further extensions to the 15th March deadline though.
Gary and Graham both seem keen on a quasi debt financing option to me which is how I think this will play out.

Regardless of no RNS update prior, I am still looking forward to a decent Q&A update with news on progress with Phase 1, 2 and farm in process.
I fully suspect Graham and the team are within touching distance of getting the best structured deal together for all despite the protracted wait for shareholders.

Also, with Phase 2 funding news imminent (if positive) then I believe a significant re-rate here is probable.

Its looking good and like things are still on track with the new LNG facility to be up and running at start of 2024!

News now on Phase 2 pipeline funding will be a gamechanger for this company.

In the last Q&A (in January) I am sure Graham said he would have news next month.
That means an RNS in due to land in the next 4 weeks (should timescales be accurate?)

The official extension period for agreeing Phase 2 pipeline funding is currently March 15th, but I, like a few others, are getting increasingly impatient and anxious waiting for this long overdue news and personally I am foolishly overleveraged with shares (totally my fault) so just wondered if anyone had any predictions/guesses on when they think we will actually receive an update?

Wouldn't this commit 'Sound' to three drills in 2023, and if so is this feasible? (I am no expert)

A confident and comprehensive update from Graham and John yesterday that well summarised by KTF.
One question from this;
Anyone have any ideas on how they may prioritise the three identified drilling sites?
(Could they prioritise the riskier M5 structure first given the shorter duration of licence extension for Annoual)
