I totally hear what you are saying regarding the loan.
If we were to say that Angus are producing gas in July then what are the likely revenues be? Enough to service the loan and bring Sound an income stream?
Others have suggested that with a Sound Energy acquisition of Angus then there would be a mass sell off of shares from existing Angus shareholders hitting the Sound SP further, but would this be likely to happen if Sound were to announce Phase 2 funding + Phase 1 FID in March along with a successful share acquisition of Angus?

I'm purely speculating here and happy to be set straight if others think i'm losing the plot.
To me it just doesn't stack up that GL would even consider this (especially at this time) if there wasn't a real chance of it happening.

Could it be that Phase 1 FID will be taken at the same time the institutions linked to OGIF that are so keen on investing in Moroccan infrastructure agree funding for Phase 2.
Maybe GL is already aware of this and wants an immediate income stream via Angus for the 18-24 month lead in period prior to first gas?
Would this make any sense to what's happening behind closed doors atm?

There are a lot of people scratching their heads with this at the moment.
It makes no sense at all to me.
Lets hope things become much clearer (very soon) regarding Grahams intention's and long term aspirations with all this.

What will the acquisition of Angus bring to the table for Sound Energy.

I purely speculate as I am no oil and gas expert like some of you;
But could it be any of the following?
More expertise in shallow and deep drilling and seismic techniques?
A cost reduction with a multi drill campaign?
Well testing expertise?
Diversification of portfolio into renewables?

Initially, its seems incredibly poor timing to attempt an acquisition otherwise, doesn't it?
Any thoughts PS or others?
Would be very interested to hear them.....

With more bigger news to land re Phase 2 (within 60 days) thing are looking very positive for the first time in a long time.

'Underpinned'........only just taken a look here as Christmas has been keeping me busy.

Didn't mean to light the touch paper here, but purely meant that based largely on sentiment and some clearly mapped out future milestones that i thought the share price might stabilise at 3p. This IMO would be based on Phase 1 contracts being approved and some more confidence returning.

With Phase 1 across the line and IMO I'm thinking the SP will remain underpinned at 3p.
Wanting, but not really expecting more news until New Years Eve personally.

Agreed - 2022 will a transformational year for sound.
Given the 'long stop' working in the RNS these contracts could be signed off anytime soon and as early as next week.
