Difficult to disagree with SLOW....

Well another month passes and still no news or any update.

I say it every month, so based on law or averages I could actually be right this time in saying, lets hope for an update in June (2024)

I'm not a religious man, but I have to say with my blind faith that I am now seriously praying this hugely protracted wait will finally reach a conclusion (one way or the other) and that the long suffering shareholders will actually be updated with very good news!!

It would be so welcomed for long term patient investors of Sound Energy to receive good news now. and I think it just may start a positive swing in fortunes for sound energy moving forward.

I have emailed GL a couple of times asking if a contingency plan is in place or has been actioned. I didn't really expect him to be able to answer and haven't received anything back yet.

Has anyone else tried to getting an recent update via email and if so did you receive anything back?

This lack of binding terms Calvalley deal after such a long period of time is big concern for me now?!

Hope I am wrong and we receive some good news soon........but its a very real worry.

Good to hear your views and reassuring to know I haven't lost the plot within this long protracted process.

The cost of the overruns is a real concern and I sincerely hope the board would be able to action a swift contingency plan should the Calvalley deal NOT go ahead......but lets hope it does?!!!

Sounds a bit lame having to wait for a friends thoughts.

Phase 1 revenues would help keep the company running.

Phase 2 - would add large annual profits for many years to come (from 27/28 my guess)

Further successful drilling could transform value of SP somewhere in-between

Both Phase 1 and Phase 2 (short and long term building blocks) have been well documented for some time and Graham has always stuck with his script from this perspective, but just not stuck with the timelines much to the frustration of most investors (and annoyance to some rather bizarrely noisy non-investors).

Personally, for what its worth, I now plan on sticking and leaving my chips on Sound so really just hoping the Calvalley deal gets across the line , AND SOON!!

Adam, you may well be wishing and hoping this deal is done, but its not you really don't know if it will be.

No-one knows for sure if its going to complete at this stage, not even Graham.

Well here we are in April and still no news or update from Graham??!!

Its hardly surprising shareholders are getting a bit fed up and impatient with everything.

I keep trying to reassure myself by remembering the confidently communicated lines that GL stated in the latest presentation.

"this is really happening"

"its taking longer than expected yes, but these are 10 year contracts or sometimes longer contracts that take time to finalise, but its a case of no news is good news"

Maybe this long awaited RNS (packed with great news) will finally arrive this month then?

For what its worth, personally I have always been a fan of your glass half full posts.

I am now hoping more than ever that you are right about this.

(I know that tying in all the contracts is complicated, and I have no doubt also simplified in my mind but this does seem a seriously long time to wait doesn't it?)

If you are right, then there could be very exciting times ahead with future drilling (just how far ahead will that be....no-one really know until they announce it?

This delay is beyond painful (and far longer than suggested)

For 24/25 I am seriously hoping Graham can start setting more accurate timelines for when key milestones and news updates are likely to arrive.
