Having re-read the RNS from 30th April 2024 it appears that Sound Energy have until 7th March 2028 to drill the M5 well under its working obligations with the complimentary period?

Can someone (with a brain), who is well versed please clarify that I am reading this correctly?

Also, would the completion of the deal now obligate Managem to drill this structure any sooner?

What a long, rather painful, and hugely protracted investment this has been.!!

Guessing no real news flow here before Sept/Oct at earliest regarding the Managem deal.

Sitting tight until then, but hoping I just may be able to claw some of my money back in the not too distant future.

Just getting a little fed up and bored waiting for those tides to turn.

Fingers crossed to all shareholders here regarding the Managem deal and potential drill programme being announced this year.

Yep, both of your posts noted and fair.

I should only really base it on the 2.4p which is only an SP increase from here being140% .

I really don't want to hype this, like yourself but will offer a slightly more optimistic take from time to time based on the way things are now heading in the right direction for Sound (regardless of the hue time delays).

Graham has been questioned at at every step of the journey and rightly so, but boxes are being ticked, albeit far slower than anticipated.

I agreed no revenue from Phase 2 pipeline until built and producing which would definitely be a further 2 years from FID being taken in late 2024 at the earliest.

Its just my view, I could be wrong, as could you but with the Managem deal across the line I believe sentiment will massively change here. I could be wrong (so don't shoot me down in flames) but not sure you seem to take the potential of sentiment change on board because you are very factual and analytical. I get it and think you have very humble intentions with informing shareholders of the core facts after the previous misery caused from overhyping this share by the previous BOD's.

Sentiment as we know (here particularly) can be a very very dangerous thing and I am fully aware and mindful of long term shareholders running at huge losses when the share price rallied towards the £1 mark.

However, with the current SP of just sub 1p and with knowing the now clearly mapped out future of the company with both Phase 1 and Phase 2 (which will happen) I do think it reasonable to believe a sentiment change on top of the existing company value could well lead to a marked increase in SP within the next 6 months.

Just my opinion of course.

With my glass half full, regardless of the existing share price my expectation for the AGM are on quite a positive track at the moment. Its highly probably (IMO) that the AGM will happen, and GL will attend as the CEO tomorrow.

I also believe there will be an presentation from John Argent updating shareholders about the drilling plan for M5 and SBK-1 subject to completion of the binding Managem deal + how this is being planned prior.

I generally don't ever do this because there is is always someone out there who will accuse me of ramping but if/when the Managem deal gets across the line (next 3 ish months hopefully) then I truly believe we are likely we see a 200-300% increase in the SP for here within the next 6 months.

That must surely be a welcomed relief to the long suffering shareholders here.

This business will have been massively de-risked with the latest deal closed.

Looks like this could be a very complimentary partnership looking at Managem's projects.

What we also know is that Graham was being honest to his word when saying the board frequently discuss contingency plans which were pursued over the past 12 months behind closed doors.

From the Malcy interview its also sounding positive that the M5 drill may happen within the next 6 months following closure of this deal (despite what some may think)

With another drill carry in SBK-1 and Phase 2 being fully funded things are surely looking up in terms of de-risking the business and the generating of long term revenue for shareholders (despite the percentage ownership reduction).

It will also be interesting to hear Johns update and enthusiasm regarding the drills later on this week following the AGM.

I also note Managem interests are various solar related projects so could these interests link nicely into the 'other opportunities' category that Graham has been discussing?

We will probably see an updated broker note this week too.

It will be good to find out more on the timelines for the forthcoming drilling campaign at the Q&A next week and I think this should really generate some more interest here.

I suppose this will only commence once all CP's on the binding agreement have been fully met and we hear in this interview with Gary this is likely to be a minimum of 3 months or more, but I presume this drill sites can be fully planned and ready to go just prior to execution of the Managem deal.

The de-risking of the business is good and I look forward to the updated new broker note when that arrives but sound will need to have success with the drill bit to really generate significant value in the SP.

The AGM + post presentation seriously needs to confirm exactly what's happened, why the delay, and what's going to now be happening moving forward.

Its a whole year later from when this news was announced ..................come on??!!

Graham has stated in a couple of the presentations that 2024 will be a year of updates with plenty of further news flow for shareholders, but right now its difficult to see when or if this is even likely to happen.

Combining the Phase 2 delay with the other 1 year delay before we see any sign of Phase 1 LNG revenues its hardly surprising that there is a distinct lack of confidence at the moment.

I like so many others here would love to see fantastic news land in the form of a well set out RNS shaping sound energy's long term future , but I have a awful sinking feeling right now and sincerely hope that there is a faster track congincency plan in place should the Phase 2 deal with Calvalley not materialise.
