cheers for that Poker.....Does make me wonder sometimes this stock market thingy.....some times more shares are brought then sold and the stock goes down and vice a versa most odd....

Just googled wpp share price and closing price is 935.17 not sure what that's all about but answers on a postcard would be most welcome

It's been a couple of good days here for us long suffering vodders....if it keeps this up might even break the 140 come Friday....hope i haven't just given it the kiss of death....

You're right about being sold cheap....can only hope someone puts a counter bid in.....still gutted about the sale but £3 a share bid would make it a little bit better......

yes did have a look at phnx and mng but hold aviva as well so don't want any more insurers......looking to invest in a mining

Same as you Bill and Al4x brought into this at 245 and topped up again at just under 400 which gives me an average of 330 or there abouts....one to keep i think

it ain't easy picking a winner is it.....I'm 57 still working at the mo so looking to secure some good dividend stock for an early retirement so any thoughts would be happily accepted got lloyds at an average of 59 but willing to hold on to that as think well hope that will come good...vodafone has been a bit of a roller coaster 129 average but happy to hold for the divi until it gets up to the 140 mark then reevaluate also have BT...BP....IUKD....LGEN...GSK and a few others

Hi Rob am not being smug about GLO bitterly disappointed as have said excellent divi with a good growth prospect like you said though profit is profit.....As for UKW i think there will be a share issuance later this year so if you gonna buy in to it don't go mad as if they do an issuance it will be in 135-140 region also they could be next in line for a takeover guess you pays your money and take a chance....it's not easy this share malarkey

Hi Rob not sure if you will remember but back in March i said have a look at GLO an energy stock....well gutted to say they are being brought out with a 36% upside...made a good profit on that but would have preferred to keep the stock as paid an excellent divi quarterly....not sure where to go with the proceeds safe to say it won't be here.....maybe will plummet for a mining stock.....

I'm fortunate enough or unfortunate enough to hold GLO...google them if you don't know who they are anyway there being brought out with an upside to share price of 36% And i don't want to sell yes i've made a great profit but would have preferred to keep them...anyway maybe UKW could be next in line for a buyout.....

Like others have posted just want to say thanks Trek .....your thoughts and in sights were most welcome.....think i brought into this after reading one of your posts else where on this site...So if you ever find yourself in Southampton let me know and will gladly buy you a pint or two....gutted to be losing this stock as have said earlier

Fully agree Trek.....love this stock but think it's a foregone conclusion this has gone have to find another that matches the divi.....let me know if you find anything out there cheers

Very good question.....Guess we're find out in the coming months....Have held for a few years now and there have been a couple of share issuance so i would hold off buying at these prices for now with a wait and see approach
