Robleo hope you don't mind me adding to your question.....my best holding has been LGEN....good solid divi even paid fully during the pandemic...I managed to get Aviva at 245 topped up just under 400 this also has been a good investment so far

Oh dear think we're all going a bit negative.....that's not a lot of divi cover they've cut it once so the possibility of another cut remains...Hope i sound to much like our dear old friend Mikey..... good man in my opinion

Phoenix i have held LGEN for a while now has been one of best holdings excellent divi even paid during the pandemic when everyone else was running for the hills....don't think you can go wrong putting you earnings from GLO there in my opinion of course....

I too hope he's wrong on the long term growth front...but do see where is coming from as have said before when this reaches 140 going to sell half of my holding here the dividend is good but can't justify the slow movement in the share price

Well said Rob....it's only opinions and we all have them some of the things said on here in the last day or so i have found most aberrant....again only in my opinion

The dividend was declared on the 19th May at 14p per share and will be paid on the 1st July.....Not sure when the split is happening but would think mid July hope this helps......

Yes your right was only saying if a takeover acurred i would be happy with 250p and not 200p if that makes sense,,,and can the government stop it? if we share holders are willing to sale would the government have to buy our shares if they didn't want Mr Drahi to buy them?

Have said before and will say again if Mr Drahi wants to buy my shares in BT for 250p he can have them and Boris can jump up and down and stamp his feet all he wants cause i'll be selling.....or can the government stop me?

I wish i had your confidence in eve......as you may remember i'm the idiot who brought into this at 19p a share......never gonna see that money again this is doomed it ran off the back of Neil Woodford who backed it he's gone and this hasn't got long either sorry bud but that's the truth...as i see it

yeah thanks for the advice....i mainly hold ftse 100 stock with a good dividend yield but since the pandemic things have gone slightly awry....but tend to keep hold and not sell am a bit heavy in Vodafone so looking to off load half when the time is right have a couple of funds and a couple of ftse 250 although one has just been brought out GLO not happy as think there worth more then the price being paid saying that have made a hefty profit from that one....so have funds to invest elsewhere....suggestions would be most welcome
