The A8 Deep Well will be at TD this week/ now with literally just a few more meters to drill.

With casing and initial flow testing (if not blocked/ live oil) it’s highly likely we will have an update next week – who knows may be they’ve already stopped and are testing the 4 intervals between 4,500m-5,046m to report on as a whole?

What if they’ve found more oil bearing intervals or a massive 250m gross oil column down to 5,300m in the Devonian – so many questions.

802 Deep Well to spud imminently to retest the Devonian with TD in 6 months time to boot – no doubt new Dutch acid treatment will be ready to hand by then if it’s blocked, but hopefully confirming a 58km connected Devonian reservior - 250m deep is in play............

All other news aside this is the current elephant in the room - damp squib or Giant Squid?

If A3B flow rate was decent and the RF/OIP numbers are good then they could sell their remaining 85% for $100 million?

If that were the case then we'd be looking at a dividend of about 0.047p per share IF they shared 100% of the $100m.

If all the deeps (6)/ shallow wells (6 more on the cards) flow and A3B flows and 100% sold/ licence upgrade/ boat hired etc. iyo what's crazy?

It's looking though the A8 Deep Well may just hit TD of 5,300m next week having had no update on the wells progress since 13 October (brilliant if gets to 5,300m+).

If it does get all the way to TD then that should be next week by my cals, followed by casing and initial flow testing the week after so a couple of more weeks for initial results and the all important RNS with multi Op's Updte.

Of course they could be flow testing the well now or once again it could be blocked?

Live moveable oil in the Devonian is the main thing, we can sidetrack and perf again later if need be.

If it is blocked we would have 5 Deep Wells needing acid treatment 6 with 802 if that too is blocked with debris etc..

The Yanks have cracked the deeps with their acid formulas so why don't CASP jog on over to Tengis ask ask them for help in solving their deep problems instead of asking the Dutch?

The good thing is if A8 is blocked at TD we're way in front with the Dutch formulating a new acid wash that could be used very quickly and would also be used on the A6 and 801 Deep Wells to boot.

I didn't know he flew out there before each RNS.

I've just crunched the A8 Deep Well numbers and without casing and drilling at 7m per day (as we have been averaging over the last two RNS's) I make it we're hovering around 5,230m!

70m to go = 10 days to TD.

Bumper RNS could be imminent if the A8 Deep Well hits TD this week - drilling through oil bearing fractures will hasten the drill bit TD and flow testing.

At the front of the news we're waiting on is the 153 Well - it could still be being flow tested or being cleared of debris if it was blocked and still waiting to be flow tested.

Either way no news is good news.

I think Carver is waiting to put out an all singing and dancing OP's Update and the 153 Well news will just have to fit in with the other pending news.

We've three wells waiting to imminently spud 144/ 802/ A5 and results on the 153 and A8 wells. The A8 Deep Well should have less than 100m to go to TD imo so 2 more weeks for initial results - obviously less if it's unable to get there so news could be imminent and Carver wants to include the 153 Well result with the A8 TD update.

With a ton of other news to add re export licence/ CE contract it's a waiting game for now and imo the A8 Deep Well is going to be the main course and Caver's waiting to see what happens with A8 before posting the next Op's Update.

For those who think he can not delay news until the A8 Deep Well has stopped drilling then think again.

If it's true that Carver has said news will be out mid/end month it will be because of the pending A8 Deep Well results or pending export licence upgrade and wants to send out a multi Op's Update including spuds to boot.

A8 Deep Well should be hovering around 5,200m today.

Approx another 100m to TD = 14 more days.

You shouldn't have too long to wait to get out at 6p-10p with a dozen or so bits of news due over the next 6 months.

In the short term if A8/153 Wells don't come good in the next month at least there's at least 4 oil bearing intervals to perferate on the A8 well, which may flow oil from the Devonian pushing the sp to 6p+

There shoulf be several major bits of news out befor year end so you'll have a chance to get your money back soon enough. imo. .....but will you?

They have to drill horizontally wells 142/ 146 and then perferate them which will take at least 2 months per well before we know if the wells are flowing, so news on these will be in the New Year and not any time soon.

Yep the longer we wait for a RNS the bigger it will be.
