It's been 7 months since CASP began doing their due diligence(DD) on the Galaz sized prospect and if memory serves there were 2 gold licenses on the block. Is the reason why the DD is taking so long to update on because, they're also doing their DD on the 2 gold mining licenses? Anyway sounds like a couple of mining deals are on the way before year end, better this than millions spent on a share buy back. imo.

If they go ahead and buy this Galaz sized block they'll no doubt need a minimum circ. $5m? just for new equipment etc., if starting from scratch for both licenses imo, gold is at an all time high so with oil and gold coming from this block could prove a winner under one umbrella re ownership, how much will it cost to buy this block? - another Block 8 type of deal would be good, let's see.

When the suspension is lifted - combine the above and massive shareholder relief re trading recommencing the share price is no doubt going to rocket.

If we get further updates within the next few weeks on the Block 8 license being renewed - ownership handover/ P1 Deep Well flowing too or the BNG deep wells being worked on who knows where the share price will open/ spike to.

Sentiment is going to be very high with CASP having a ton of cash and a massive work program to finish off.

DM, yeah that's perhaps why they abandoned the well re no nearby refinery could process it?

The jury is still out for me re whether or not they can access the $69.1m before the auditors are happy. I think the dosh to spud the $3m WS well has come from operational deep expense savings and the Block 8 $3.2m loan that's probably being paid back from the P2 wells 876 bopd production.

If they had access to the AR dosh I'd have thought work on the A5-6-7 wells would have already commenced, they've received various sums from AR for months, hopefully an Airshagyl RNS is out shortly too.

I don't understand why they abandoned the 801 Deep Well that had an initial flow rate of 1,500 bopd with super light oil having an 84 API and 4 very thick intervals?

Interestingly they've also increased TD from 2,660m down to 3,000m.

Oil pipeline 20km away so not too far to truck the oil too.

The primary target is the shallower Jurassic at 2,300m so first news, if no problems, could be out much sooner.

The one analyst offering a 12 month price target expects Caspian Sunrise PLC share price to rise to 17.87 in the next year from the last price of 2.15.

Could even be by year end if the A6 Deep Wells acid wash proves up a gusher, 803 Deep Wells flow test/ NY license and B8 license signed off giving CASP at least 876 bopd to boot.

When selling part of your company in Kazakhstan, there are specific tax implications to consider. The tax system in Kazakhstan includes corporate income tax (CIT) for companies, which is assessed for a calendar year. All legal entities and branches of foreign legal entities are subject to CIT. Taxable income is determined as the taxpayer's aggregate annual income less allowable deductions. Resident companies are taxable in Kazakhstan on their worldwide profits, while non-resident companies operating through a permanent establishment (PE) in Kazakhstan are subject to CIT only on the profits attributable to that PE. Non-residents without a PE in Kazakhstan that receive income from sources in Kazakhstan are generally subject to income tax withheld at source of payment on Kazakhstan-sourced income. 

The CIT is 20%.

This 20% can be offset with various expenses/ costs/ losses/ WHT  etc..

I'm guessing the reason for the delayed 2024 audit report and the 2025 six month interim report is to do with CASP trying to reduce the 20% CIT tax re the shallows spend over the years, clawing back as much of the circ. $14m CIT due, re being in compliance with the KAZ governments foreign companies part sales tax allowances. 

The auditors have delayed the audit report twice, that we know of, likely because of how far back they've had to go?

Hold the horses Clive we've found another million bucks to knock off the CIT  ;- ).

New 25 year Airshagyl license - NY 25 year license pending - the share price will reflect this positively on opening have a new Airshagyl deep license.

Block 8 P2 well flowing 876 bopd - quadruple the barrels of BOTH P1/P2 Wells before suspension - the share price will reflect on this positively on opening knowing the B8 license handover is imminent.

West Shalva - full ownership handover imminent - the share price will reflect this positively on opening.

Testing of Akaduckk/ P1 Well / 803 Well and pending NY new 25 year license, the Sholkara license now renewed - the share price will reflect this positively on opening.

CASP's bank account circ. $70 million.

Exported oil can now go ahead.

Pending Galaz size acquisition in the wings.

These are just a few factors that will drive the share price far north when the suspension is lifted, and much higher from todays 2p once operations commence.

I fully expect the over leveraged who didn't plan for a lengthy suspension will have to sell, but sentiment will be very positive with buys outstripping the sells on the day and thereafter. imo.

CASP have many irons in the fire and are not a one trick pony as Gritster implies.

For those touting a mega Op's Update before the suspension is lifted are in for a major disappointment imo.

Reasoning:

The Block 8 P1 Well was planned to be flow tested months ago after being perforated. Firstly CASP are not the Operator yet and it's down to the Operator to release news, Secondly the well is either blocked or has not been flow tested by the Operator, because if the well was blocked it would cost circ, $1m for an acid wash and much more for a sidetrack to be drilled the well - Operator/ CASP won't have the spare money to do this, and thirdly why would the operator fund these works if the Block 8 license is about to be transferred over to CASP- after the Akaduckk license has been issued to boot. The Block 8 license could still be months away from being signed off.

The Yelemes North license is still pending the KAS EM sign off before they can finish flow testing the 803 Deep Well or pulling the 802 Deep Wells 400m stuck pipe and I very much doubt it will be sorted before mid/end - October.

The West Shalva P1 Well will cost circ. $3m to drill. CASP were given permission to work on the WS  license months ago, but without having access to the AR dosh it's a catch 22, therefore I don't see a well being spud before the suspension has been lifted.

The only drilling/ work that can be officially done now is on the Airshagyl 25 year license that was issued months ago. This license will be the first to be worked on when they have the dosh available to spend on the A6 acid wash (circ. $1m) and the sidetrack of the A5 Deep Well (circ. $3m) and to complete the A7 Deep Well (circ. $3-4m).

News of spudding the WS P1 Well will be inline with Airshagyl work commencing.

Once the dosh and other licenses are fully in CASP's pocket 

Personally I think we'll see the suspension lifted then a general Op's Update as there's nothing really to report on as already RNS'd.

Thereafter as each well is worked on (Airshagyl wells A5/A6/A7) we'll get rapid RNS's  over the coming weeks/months with WS spud to boot.

The work we thought would be completed this year has now moved into 2026 which will see a very busy first half of the year. imo.

Realism needed so let's get real..............

I bought these years ago circ. 14p - 18p when they had zip and some hope and now they have excellent commercial gas flows...... 11.5p buy out! UH?
