I think I'm usually the cynical one! :)
YCA is moving with the ebb and flow of hundreds of people buying and selling each day.
The underlying asset is moving based on a very illiquid order book, perhaps only a few people buying and selling in any week.
They are going to be moving with a reasonably high correlation, but not perfect of course.
Also, while YCA will issue shares & buy U3O8 when trading at a premium, it doesn't have much of a mechanism to address a discount. It can do small share buybacks, but the board is very unwilling to sell and of it's assets to fund a buyback. And this results in YCA being stuck with a near permanent discount.
