Some people posting on here like Sidara don't even really want to buy WG?! They are a 10,000 person company, made up of many little brands. Being able to buy WG would be a step change for them and they know it, that's why they are super keen.

Who is to say a takeover presents a win for the company as it stands right now? When a company is taken over it is usually striped and broken up. Are you suggesting something will be put in place to protect jobs for 2 years post acquisition?

From an employee perspective, it would be safer for a sale not to happen and for them to correct the mess that has been created. They've got a big enough book of business to do this and come out much stronger in 2 years time.

Do you think WG's true value is less than $200m? Unless something very serious is uncovered in the review currently being undertaken, then it has to be valued at an appropriate level. If this sells for less than £1 per share, then the BoD will struggle to ever get a decent job again and some of the senior people in the company would be in the same boat, and would open themselves to a market investigation.

Agreed, the BoD would go down in history for some of the greatest corporate ineptness this country has seen in a long time if they were to suggest to accept substantially lower than the previous offers rejected only last year.

In this new presentation for Feb '25, it states the cash position is £4.8m GBP. The last raise on the 30th Sept '24 stated with the £2.5 raised it put our cash position then at £4.8m GBP. Since then we've brought in £365,000 through options. I have to say, if the figures are correct as stated, this gives me a lot of confidence on the management and how they are operating. There are too many AIM companies that play fast and loose with a bank balance when things are going well, EEE are a breath of fresh air it seems. Long may it continue.

I would have thought any US based company would not be walking away from anything Greenland right now - the more control US affiliates have over Greenland assets the better I would have thought given all the talk from Trump. I would think throttle their economy and try and force them to be more receptive to US advance would make more sense.

Anyone who has picked ECR over the last 15 years has not been rewarded, fact. Let's see if this time, history might not repeat itself. Also, their substantial stakes cost them exactly ZERO pounds and pence - no matter what they sell them at, it is still profit for them. Best bet here is ECR name no longer exists in 2 years and we get incarnation number 4 of this company. Maybe though, the Leopard has changed it's spots this time round...

Kobold is the only hope. Integrity seems to be lacking for a number of the 'new' management but hopefully, the projects take them/us on a good journey despite there downfalls.
