Oh, and i have held this share for 10 months - made a good profit but steadily selling - sorry Colin, the business is great but if you can’t communicate and add investor value, then no point being invested.

You are clearly missing the part of the RNS that states

“Accordingly, there are no COVID-19 lateral flow antigen tests that can be manufactured by Omega, on behalf of the Government, at this time.“

I keep seeing lots of excuses for the poor wording. Frankly, none hold water - its just the latest in a long line of poorly written RNS’s and statements.

- Twitter marketing does not match the RNS
- FINNCAP can’t put a target SP on ODX - can you blame them with statements like “the contract is up to £374m but could be substantially less”......”oh, and we don’t have an antigen test yet” - what is FINNCAP meant to make of that statement?
- Lack of clarity on the deal - how many tests, is this onky for tests manufactured on the govt bought machines (ie 1m per week?) where is TT at - first it was xmas present, then start of year.....also, what at present are you using the capacity of Alva for since it must be now around 1m per week?

- crap RNS on govt contract
- lack of clarity on timelines and tests which will no doubt take a while to confirm
- the govt update talks about late May timeline
- other covid stocks look like they are about to boom so be those shorter term holders to jump ship (I chopped some ODX to get into NCYT)

Lot of frustration and we have the reminder of how poor ODX are at comms

Same with when the TT started - that had to be got out of Walbrook - never known a company so bad at comms that after each RNS / Q&A Walbrook have to be asked questions

My frustration is not the company - it is with the communication and the poor quality therein.

You may want to look up what a CEO responsibilities are........

I don't want him to hold my hand, I just want him to write an RNS that isn't poorly worded - I don't think that is too much?

Fancy issuing an RNS that for the upside is quite plain "very encouraging" "indication of the substantial impact on Omega's future performance"

Vs

"value of future purchase orders may be substantially less than stated" and "value of our agreement is only an estimate"

What did they expect when you basically pee all over the positive news and then are luke warm in the positve parts of the RNS.

Hey Colin - a CEO's role is to maximise the SP - not kill it - any negatives destroy the SP, any positive news gets mangled and becomes a negative.

Not sure about that, but optimistic over the week that news will filter out and people absorb the news.

Couple of points Tonic:

1. We were a govt supplier of the ABC-19 test - we now are just another manufacturer of an LFT antibody test - which highlights how these things can change at whim
2. It matters to a degree - in that the Mologic test is going through TT which has lasted for at least 2 or 3 months - if we then have to start from scratch with a timeline of

100% agree Archie - this (if true) is becoming a circus and to a lot of investors, something of a red flag. ODX pay Walbrook a lot of money for PR - it should come from them or RNS's.

Interesting that the Surescreen test is "nasopharyngeal" and "anterior " only - ie not saliva

Though I am all sure we are hoping ODX finished early January and will have a big backlog that once the Mologic test is approved, then they will drop an almighty RNS confirming TT, the sales and the ongoing manufacturing for UKGOV and making a healthy profit in the process..........
