Innova's own clinical test gave themselves a sensitivity of 99% - it is on their website.

Who did it then - it isn't specified on any RNS or publication. Not a single AVCT holder has been able to tell me who did it or even which Spanish hospital ran the study......

Rocquet - AVCT's test has only been tested by themselves - nothing shared........you don't even know which Spanish hospital.

All companies when they do their own clinical studies 'happen' to come out with amazing results. Look at Innova - theirs came out at 99.8%. Then look at Roche in fact, all the other tests - always very high when they do it themself.

Now look when its independently tests it - the performance is always reduced.

I see AVCT banging on about their gold standard test, but when you compare their own clinical study to other companies clinical studies, it is about on par. So lets see how the third party studies get on first - until then, it is a good test I am sure, but as yet, not verified and not going to be accepted by UKGOV until its been tested and as per the RNS's, their is a stumbling block with the frozen samples (that no-one else has an issue with!).

You now have moved from anticipation stage to now deliver - people will be clambering for all these sales and deals promised - but I suspect that will take time. I also think AVCT's presentation being on the 21st is significant.

Interesting - the AVCT test has been rejected at MHRA (StickyStock on Twitter has an email from MHRA confirming it was rejected on the 20th).

rocquet - what are you arguing? AVCT clearly stated in both their RNS in Feb and in the full accounts yesterday that they are unlikely to pass at Porton Down due to the testing method (interestingly the only company to complain about this).

Mologic has not shared anywhere that they have not progressed at Porton Down.

What this tells me is that Omega / Walbrook don't seem to like sharing info - even the non covid business they tell us nothing!!

We have had Innova tests for months and these have been recoeved and then pouched etc - so suddenly some are being diverted up to Alva......

I wonder if their is more to it than just rebrading the Innova tests for the government.....

its not failed at all - they have a govt contract for £374m. They have millions of ABC-19 tests produced (and continuing to be manufactured) and two chunky antibody test tenders - and with that will come home use approval.

They have to be quiet right now as everything is confidential - it hasn't been managed well at all, but the fact remains we have a lot of money coming ODX's way very soon.

I honestly think they have had their knuckles rapped - partially the Tesla, but some of the others especially the one about the elections which drove the 15% rise. Silence is probably best when so close to getting contracts (and test to manufacture) confirmed.

Lets face it, with regard to LFT (and potentially ELISA testing) we are going to be all but nationalised!

Maybe the car park changes are for a nw Tesla dealership and the tweet was suggesting we should wait for massive gains and Colin to have the dealership up and running.....

worst case scenario is that the contract is cancelled and we only recieve £50m of the £374.

Two steps:
1. A test must be chosen which we presume must be imminent
2. Then they quarterly are advised how many tests the government wants - thus there is potential that the volume demanded may reduce - I don't suppose that Omega will advise each quarters government volumes

That is why the SP is dropping - the contract was dropped months ago and we seem no clearer as to which test we will be making and thus their is a risk until points 1 & 2 are confirmed.

2. None of his 'interviews' have provided anything of substance
3. His tweets show his frustration is the same as ours

Think of the SP - they have no ii to be on their case - only PI’s so why would they give a rats ass what the SP is?

I and many others are not privy to these decisions which is where much of the frustration boils down.

Of our 2m capacity, around 60% is essentially government related - both elements have not had the contracts confirmed yet and ODX would be foolish to share with the market agreements prior to the contract being signed (and in the case of antigen, the test being confirmed).

I agree it is frustring but the crux of the matter is that at present not a great deal can be shared - look at AVCT / Abingdon etc - have they shared much say on commercial deals or what Abingdon will be producing and in what quantities for whom? I think we will soon realise that their is a reason.

I do not though take away the fact that the comms has been poor - specifically too vague, yet sometimes lurching towards some heavy ramping with strong implications.

So my statement was correct, ODX can use the ODX machine for themselves - I figured the fact that we would have to essentially pay for this would be obvious but yes, we will have to pay some money.

So we have 2m capacity since at least end of April - almost mid-May and so hypothetically, the machines could have been ran to make 2m LFT's (1m for each week) and profit of worst case 70p per test - thats £1.4m profit - not bad?

Obviously that's a very optimistic assumtion....
