The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
And good luck to you sir, just trying to bring a bit of balance to the discussion - looks like some people are a bit touchy.
Hard to tell with some AVCT holders, a lot still think that the goverment has waited an additional 6 months just for the AVCT LFT which still hasn't seen the light of day.........
I hope you don't have a job that involves anything too senior around contracts as you have made a few schoolboy errors and your maths is just awful!!
- The contract is between £50 and £374m - it isn't split by month, it can be lumpy as it is a drawdown
- The contract is for 1 year, not 2 as per your £374 divided by 24 equation
- Your calculations......lets just say my 8 year old could do better. This isn't all of the production - for LFT's, it is just half so you can't assign all 250 people to that product
* A £374m govt contract
* Manufacturing a Gold Standard antigen (rather than just trying to get it CE marked)
* ABC-19 test which is specifically mentioned in the NHS APP code due to be released later this month
So different stage of the journey and since BAMS has moth-balled, all your bets are on LFT.........
And what football team is AVCT? AS always promising the world but never delivering - surely Totenham?
"ODX saying they're best in class is like liverpool fans saying they are champions. True for a very short amount of time."
Its getting closer to the 8ema - once we go over that, should start to fly!
"From ABDX RNS it states "£5.15m (including VAT) for the 1 million AbC-19™ rapid tests". That's £5 per test to the UK Government can you imagine how much the Consortium will get from other parties for these tests. At 50% profit to ODX we are back to the £3 to £5 a share, SP predictions some seem to have forgotten about right now"
1. The amount needs to reduce by 20% to take out the VAT
2. We don't know the cost per test to then be able to work out the profit
3. ODX profit is 25%, not 50%
He claimed on Twitter that that imaginary interview went instead to Walbrook and Omega to review and then share properly.
Embaressing how many people hung on some guys word who provided zero evidence to suggest he had any connection to Colin!!
Not looking good - loads of tweets in Feb when the directors sold for a high price - sneaky sneaky
#InColinWeTrust was the biggest joke of a tweet
Well, I would assume the ABC-19 test has been being manufactured.
More recently, some quantity of the Visitect LFT - timelines and volume unknown
then the 1m capacity from the govt machines I don't know the contract agreement - can ODX use it for private usage? Or potentially for ABC-19 if that is going to go to the govt?
Still find it unbelieveable that they have decided on radio silence for April, a huge month and lots of talk in the news about LFT's.
Almost as if shareholders are a hindrance to Omega.
Do you no think that back in October, this was the plan all along with the 1m govt element.....
The 2m capacity being hit isn't a biggy for me personally. We know the 'extra'1m capacity is the governments machine and thus, since we still don't know what test we are to be manufacturing, then it won't be used (unless they authorise it for using the ABC-19 test and that allocation is for UKGOV as opposed to being sold privately.
Thus I want to hear an update on what they are manufacturing, how many and where they are at with the Visitect (Mologic) antigen.
Still not happy that the newsflow has been so poor and the Omega tweets seem to be clustered around when directors are selling - not a great look.
AS commenting that they are in active but slow communication with DHSC..........he is certainly trying to gently put some pressure on govt,
No look at @BigJock36 on Twitter, he likes to dish it out - showed his true colours on the day NCYT dropped 40% going after a few people. As you like to suggest to others, DYOR.
Like I say, he is not worth the oxygen
Then take my second suggestion of looking for yourself on Twitter, not hard to find............
Too much time has been wasted on that guy.
"Care to provide some evidence for this allegation? A link to the tweet would be good..."
Well, regulator, seems I didn't need to as Computer909 has posted it for me - perhaps take a look yourself on Twitter....................
Intrigued, you are usually more sceptical yet seem quite enamoured by 'BigJock' which surprises me.
He is a very abusive character on Twitter so my sympathy is limited - the guy hurled abuse at me when I dared to like another persons comments on ODX (negative) - he wasn't in the conversation and used a homophobic slur and suggested I was dumb.
I don't believe their is shred of evidence he is actually friendly with Colin so lets forget this guy and look forward to the future of the company, rather than someone's attention seeking.
agreed - a stop loss raid probably - then we will see if the buyers jump in or stay out - I think as sentiment is low and the Omega management seem intent on keeping everything under wraps, not so much buying pressure.
Looks like we only get Omega tweets when the directors want to sell high.......
#InColinWeTrust apparently......
No RNSed news today, sentiment crappy and even the great BigJock interview (seriously ??????) won’t probably hold this - lets see if resistance holds us around the 70p level.
Very poor from ODX and Walbrook IMHO - so much unclear info and then a CEO determined to downplay everything, believing he is being ‘honest’.
