The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
to be fair its held up better than I expected in all fairness. What does help is a lot of our tenant are essential shops due to food sales. Obviously Hawthorns business side of things will be struggling but with plenty of money in the bank we should be okay. It will be interesting to know the retail valuation on the next update as I'm personally cautious in terms of the companies LTV.
Morning Gents
Been looking into this company and considering the relevantly low Mcap it looks like a very good opportunity. Could someone advise some key investment points in their opinion which may make this opportunity more appealing ?
Many thanks
Not great for us shareholders. Can see the share price down to 65 ish over the short term. Perhaps a perfect opportunity to buy more. What are others thoughts ?
I was thinking perhaps in 5 years time as the time scales always slip in oil & gas industries. Anyone else's thoughts ?
wrong. I was asking a genuine question. When are they planning on making a profit ?
is slowly lining up for a home run hear I believe. Don't want to jinx anything but we haven't had FDA approval yet and the share price is holding very well. We should have key updates from all 4 companies within this first quarter and I believe we could hit 50p by March.
when are UKOG planning on making a profit. Or is it continually diluting shareholders to purchase assets ???
I presume he is. With the current restrictions rental income will be poor over December to March. Thereafter I hope we are back to some sort of normality
Institution protection with the current deal although its down to the individual companies anyway
Agree with your suggestion. Re introducing a covered dividend will also help the SP. Retail valuations should balance out soon which will improve the balance sheet longer term. Will also be interesting to see what they will do with the Circa 200 million they should have in the bank. Purchase of major cheap yielding assets with bravo perhaps ? and capitalise on the retail management.
Bounced back rather positively on the back of a small dip. Brexit deal may be in the bag but still feel this virus will continuously hit our UFFO. But NRR is still undervalued in my opinion.
the Santa rally is officially diminished. but a good opportunity to stock up I believe before the new year.
I can see this heading down to the low 60's again. But perhaps a good opportunity to load up more !!
some big trades going through and share price slowly rising. Nice and steady she goes. Will be interesting to see what the dividend will be. I'm thinking final year dive of 6 to 7 P.
I don't really understand your concern. If its a significant shareholder we will be notified.
I'm simply in for long term DIVI payments.
I don't know why the government don't enforce an online purchase VAT system. I.E more VAT or an online purchase.
Have you taken account of the business being cash positive throughout this year ?
agreed. and we need to hope that the FCA concludes their investigation before the company runs out of funds ! Things will be more tight than people anticipate in my opinion. I certainly doubt the FCA will be done before February . Although I hope I'm wrong.
tonight's confirmed news certainly wont help the retail situation either !
