RE: Through $500026 Jan 2026 08:20
While I agree with Lee that this is one of Trump's possible strategies because a) he said it out loud and b) as a bankrupcy specialist in getting out of debts using it I would not be surprised he would default to this strategy burning all bridges in the process.
Whatever their strategy, there are a few things we know. 1) They will aim to enrich themselves through any means possible, and most are openly corrupt
2) Old school imperialism and disregard of the constitution are plain to see in their approach to any domestic and international dealings
3) The weakness of their government to negotiate on any legitimate terms are rapidly eroding any international trade and influence, particularly with India, China, the EU, chunks of South America e.g. Brazil, Venezuela, South Africa and others. The remaining nations of the world hold little wealth and influence proportionately to them.
The tanking of the dollar value seems imminent, but other currencies might not collapse around it particularly. Euro, Swiss Francs and RMB will become alternative stronghold currencies and may see value increase further.
So I think Gold will continue to rise because of geopolitical tension and the dollar drop, but not the death of Fiat currency particularly if the rest of the world reconfigures trade and banking and continues to function.
