Doesn't make much sense as Oil still has room to go lower, FTSE near ATH so room to go lower. I guess it could be a short term bottom. Until tomorrow. Is it more wishful thinking?

Intraday it feels like this chooses to follow whichever is doing worst out of the FTSE and Oil and follows it.

Multiplier cash movement in part due to acquisitions of Hibbett and Courir by the looks of it.

Just watch the top of the gap at 96-97 as you might get some sellers there but hopefully will just keep on climbing consistently beyond that.

Just outside the top 10 most shorted on shorttracker. What a claim to fame! Connor, Clark & Lunn Investment Management Ltd and GLG Partners LP battling to get the most short. Can Acadian Asset Management LLC come back at them?

This seems to fall with the price of oil. Shorts seem to be pricing in a global slowdown. One short seems to have gone back below the 0.5% mark but with the drop today the other shorts have no doubt increased.

Short positions rolling over today?

Hopefully the gap from today will get closed off and then onwards and upwards

Would be great to see the shorts reduce a bit or get squeezed with Trump's latest news. Probably too many shares available to loan to cause a squeeze. A reduction would be good though.

Some say the debt ratio is high and reflects on the market cap. I would think it's more likely that the original IPO institutions are having their cake and eating it, loaning out and allowing the share to trade in a controlled range until their next move. It's all above their orignal buy price so why not. Keep collecting the interest. There are probably quite a few short positions below 0.5% with 4 showing above. When it reaches that 580/590 mark, go short until 500 ish by the looks of it.

They went back below 0.5% short, we don't know if they exited

If you overlay oil and the AT. share price you can see some correlation, bar news events like results.

The original IPO investors probably lending these out for a bit more lolly

Maybe the shorts are expecting some news to break as a result of the lowering oil price, maybe reduced drilling and therefore less need for equipment? Or just playing on the company not releasing news regularly. Or just good old AIM. AHT and URI also dropped recently so maybe there a general push down on rentals? They've also got quite a bit of debt now which, unless they keep growing doesn't look too pretty.

This was due a cool off anyway after a good rise, it has just been helped a little
