Paul is totally focused on his job thats for sure and I'm under no illusion this year will be extremely busy for them especially if Royston comes in. I certainly would not bash Paul one bit after an amazing year we have all had . But I was a bit shocked to see info on Facebook posted on here about Coho which is certainly not the place to give information like that out and info that means a lot to all concerned. I base my investments on good info which I act on to either increase my holdings , maintain it or lower it and I expect it to come by the correct channels and not on Facebook. You can't tell me that it didn't raise a few eyebrows here . Getting final approval and permits is very much a big thing as its all above board and ready to go so it very significant news and one which helps the company move forward.

Yes to me a small slip by the company and one I hope it doesn't repeat.

Paul also said the Chinnock testing was going to be done just before Christmas and we all assumed it was happening and then get told a few weeks later its delayed. So saying it is one thing but actually getting an Rns is another which confirms to investors and the market exactly whats going on.
To me Paul has slipped up in my eyes on this . If people think Coho being granted the go ahead and starts Monday isn't significant news thats not going to change Txp then what the hell am I doing here as each new well that gets granted to come online isn't that important. Coho is the first one one the block and is hugely significant to whats happening with Txp.
There is managing expectations here but come on, this is on Coho is fantastic.

I think Paul has slipped a bit in his communications to investors if Coho is indeed starting Monday after approval has been granted as he has stated as soon as he knows then we will . Facebook or whatever is not the correct way to do this and must come through the Rns procedure.
Has testing began yet at Chinnock is another as we have already been delayed once for over a month so the least Txp could do is inform us when the crew has started the job or delayed again. These bits of info are significant news to investors and the market for obvious reasons .

I don't expect every little thing to be made news but these are important bits of news to all concerned.

Should of had a Rns by now on Coho if going ahead on Monday.

Then you have to take into account Casca deep(never managed to get to it ) did have 308 additional fee of play but they had to stop due to the pressure again . So poss more to come from that section before the deep structure. Casca is becoming an absolute monster. I'm beginning to believe Casca holds around 1 tcf on its own.

Its a great question mate and will be fascinating to see . Txp have had huge help from ex drilling personnel from original wells which has been fantastic which also covers Royston. The combination of pulling together has been a great success story here for all to see . I have a niggling doubt in the back of my mind on one aspect of Txp but I won't put it up here at the moment till Royston is done then I will speak to Paul about it. ( thats if Royston is successful).

your post last night is absolutely spot on about the turbidite sands . It just so happens that we could be smack bang in the middle of it . I look at it that if Txp had just these 4 wells and found nothing else on the Ortoire block they would have said that it was amazing as it transformed the company completely .

The very fact we have even bigger prospects to go at this year and next is nothing short of outstanding which will keep a lot of us here for sure .
The last few days have seen this board talk about other shares and the next Txp but I must say that the opportunities coming up here outstrip most others by a long shot.
At this point I would not like a jv with anyone on the island or indeed offshore as I believe we have the best block and many many years of work do on it . It's becoming quite obvious that the Ortoire block has a lot more to to give us.

Could be a possibility that Kraken will be drilled from the Royston drill pad as directly underneath a bit like casca deep. Environmentally better and cheaper, plus if if Royston is good well could still use the well if Kraken is no good.

Will we turn blue today . This is the month we have ( fingers crossed) been waiting for .

Thats some serious infill wells to do on all 3 if Royston is good. Is it me all but has Paul gone quiet on the 2 rig front .

Paul say the tester are will be available from 1st of February so thats when we will begin to test it. OK could be a few days time but they could well be on site getting it ready.

Testing is supposed to start today according to Txp on Chinnock . Should take to long for flow tests then on to casca while Chinnock has pressure test done so jumping back and forth between the 2 .

Os even malcy says that masses of up from here just on whats been found to date. Nothing we didn't know already by most here but still very nice to hear.
I'm certainly starting to believe by early next year it could well be above £3 pounds and it could be that if Royston comes in .
If it is another world class find then the market will have to considerably up the share price . I definitely think we will have to adjust the old portfolios many times this year . There could be many investors wanting a slice of the action as the upside is so huge.

For a bit of balance i should also say casca deep may hold nothing as with kraken but we can't say that about the mighty Royston as we know it holds 700ft of gas effect for old well date.
God am I looking forward to Royston as its an absolute monster.

spot on , it can take many Wells to prove up the structures within casca and proven by the second casca drill that never reached the deep but found much more gas . That well could end up being double what is is now once we get to the deep. The same goes for Chinnock plus are they connected.

It's ongoing as they test each one . What has been found to data is absolutely fantastic but so much more could come from casca and Chinnock thats why its just as important for info on the wells as it is flow testing side of it.
We know Chinnock is bigger ( broader) than casca but just how big is it, and one well isn't enough to tell us. The info will give us a lot better understanding of it.

Like I said the deal was extremely good for both parties . It's has given Ngc the go ahead to get on with building the infrastructure to the wells while we get in with finding more oil and gas . Of course there will be a few delays going forward but that's the nature of oil and gas business.
I'm more than happy with the arrangement knowing they will work together to sort any problems out and the fact they are government owned will help.

I think you have to ask why would Txp hand over control of infrastructure to Ngc and it's obvious when breaking it down.

1 Ngc are experts in laying pipes and building infrastructure across trinidad
2 Txp would have to deal with all land owners if crossing certain land meaning huge time spent doing so.
3 Ngc will deal with all permits required from government and as they are government owned will speed up that process.
4 Gives Txp better time spent on drilling wells and working on field development plans.
5 Building good relationship with the company that is going to take the gas .
6 Could help going forward if we go after other assets on Trinidad as will be very well known and respected with Ngc backing us up . You know the old saying.

I don't believe we could do it faster or better one . Just my opinion .
Fingers crossed next week testing starts.

Saying that I wouldn't mind it dropping to £1.50 as that's a bargain that's hard to say no to haha.
