Exploration is what we do and delays are all but certain, I can't understand how the risk here has become greater when the rns this morning was extremely good news for the company . The risk put in front of me by the company has actually diminishing with each news we get and not the other way round.
Of course Aim is playing the usual game here and a few days time up it goes, but to knock the company down on what is essential very good news is shocking.
Any way not long to wait for us to get results.

Yes I agree the more I read it the more I get excited about the Chinnock well. I think the reserves update is going to get substantial bigger over the next few weeks that's for sure.
As for the market I have found they never lift the price to much here on news day and wait a few days then take it up . Just have to look a the Ngc deal news that we couldn't believe the market had given us hardly any lift on the share price then a week or so later it started climbing.

As for the 3 rigs, that has taken away the problem I was seeing a couple of months ago about the build up of infill wells / exploration wells and existing oil wells that need work.
To me thats excellent news and delighted they have sorted that.
You have to laugh that the market drops this on 68ft of uncommercial play but the zone above has been put on extended test as light oil found and still the gas above to be tested . We will also forget the large increase in the reserves because we can haha.
Shocking display by the Aim market yet again which points to why it has such a bad reputation and it's justified.

I mentioned before I wanted oil from Chinnock as well as gas so to me a bonus and look forward to full results on the Chinnock well. If Chinnock can produce near casca levels that will be around 5000 bopd which doesn't include roughly the 1500 bopd we already produce. Negative I think not so let's wait and see.

How can anyone be negative about that update as we have found oil and is being tested. The Chinnock well you have to remember is a lot lot broader than casca so could be a big find .And still to test the gas zones at Chinnock and casca as well. Very Substantial upside in reserves as well and a lot more to come over the next few weeks. The mighty Royston is getting ever closer to spud so I'm very happy with that update.

At what point does this constant drop in share price stop as nearly 30p down in a few weeks on absolutely nothing . Oil price is up which is great news for us and results on 2 world class gas structures about to come in plus Coho will be online in around a mouth . Oh and a little drill in a mouth or 2 called Royston which is known to have 700t off gas.

Many different investment strategies so you just have to find whats best for you at certain times. Takes time and usually money lost to begin with, till you start to understand how the market works.
If people think investing is easy then this is not the game to be in as the markets would take the shirt off your back given the chance ( and has done with me) many years ago.
Biggest thing I can say on it is that when you loss some money on an investment just smile and learn from it as we can never walk away with profit on every investment.
Ps...... never blame anyone else for a bad decision you've made for whatever reason as it's your responsibility to protect that investment.

Chinnock is a lot broader than Casca and deeper at present (Casca deep still to go for). Is it connected at the deeper lever is going to be interesting. Just got to sit and wait for news

Yep news could drop any day on testing at Chinnock. Then Casca testing plus Coho online in around a month.

Well with the oil prices at 66 dollars a barrel we are looking really good . Very surprised we drop to this level when everything is looking extremely good for Txp. I'm keeping fingers crossed that Chinook has condensate also at around the same volume as it worth a lot of money along with the gas.

£1.78 only 12 days ago so down 22p on nothing and just about to get results on Chinnock and Casca. It's crazy and makes little sense. Oil been going up so everything points this should be going up and not down like this.

Been looking at the company ARB and can't get my head around the fact its a billion dollar company but in September only made half a million profit . Looking at the January update they made 2.48 million in the mouth . Not being rude to anyone who's invested in it and bloody good luck to them but am I missing something. Just try to work out why .

Paul stated as soon as he knows we will on Coho ( as soon as approval was granted) yet f... all at this moment. As for testing i certainly expected news as it had been delayed for well over a month.
What's to say anything has started yet . I'm not into guessing much and prefer solid news . If they have started on Coho the very least he can do is let the Investors know as we've been waiting months on that front.
Come on chaps that is significant news to us as it is the very first well about to be having the pipeline done and production, it also happens to double txp production just on one well.

I'll leave how they test the Chinook and Casca wells to the experts as makes no odds in what order they do it. The only thing I need to know is have they actually started the testing and Coho pipe line as we are fast approaching the end of February .

This will be significant news to all concerned , first with the testing ( because its been delayed by over a month) and second that Coho has been waiting for it to be sighed of with all permits for months. Coho news is extremely important to us for obvious reasons.
If they are not news worthy to warrant an Rns then we are in trouble .

You and me both mate. This is the problem when you get news on Facebook or whatever but nothing from the proper channels as you don't know if it has started and testing of the wells the same.

Look at the dates then check when Chinnock drill was completed and casca deep started and tell me then how the hell could Txp know the pipe size without knowing what they can produce at . And they still don't as the full tests won't be completed till around end of the month or beginning of March.
Maybe Ngc have put an application in an can change pipeline size when more is know which would make sense .
