Coho can't be far off now from coming on line so looking forward to our first gas from the block . Results from the Casca deep coming and Royston to spud very soon .

Whats the thinking after Royston chaps .

Paul was correct about they can't stop news coming out the way this one has and that's why he said they will give news out straight away to try and stop this. If Casca test is good that's 3 Wells out of 4 that's good and we ( fingers crossed) could get something from Chinook.
So 3 wells that will produce good volumes and 1 iffy plus the mighty Royston to finish of this drilling campaign. Ask the experts and I'm sure they would say that 3 out of 4 is outstanding with 1 still to go.
The market has written Chinook off completely so a good result from Casca deep will see a good rise back up ready for Royston. We have Casca deep / Royston/ kraken/ steelhead all huge prospects to go at as well as the infill Wells so looking very good going forward with any one of them capable of transforming the company further.

Well done to those getting in around the eighties or lowering the percentage of their holdings. I'm sure Txp will learn a lot from Chinook which will help them going forward. Just my opinion .

100% Casca deep without a shadow of a doubt. Both on same pad. You must mean Chinook which would be at the bottom of the picture but doesn't cover that far.

The point is how the hell did they get that picture. Just goes to show if it's good then you can't hide anything as someone will find a way of get information ahead of the game.

Pull up Poole Valley Road on Google earth and you can then look at both roads and markings . It looks almost spot on.

Gas plant explosion

I asked a question so no need to be rude when answering it. I'm a Professional in my field but I don't shout at people who wish to learn and would be extremely embarrassed in doing so . You are experienced in your field so can pick up on most things while I'm not and have to ask .
I'm fully aware of Txp having to wait for the test equipment and it being the biggest on Trinidad but I was trying to understand was that the reason why they was going for high grade casing because of the results .
Thank you for the answer but I won't ask anything again as I can see you have to express your answer in a way that belittles those that do not have your understanding.

The test results by CLJ Ltd states this about both upper and lower zones at Cascadura-1ST1

Final 24-hour extended flow test rate, limited by capacity of surface test equipment, averaged 5,472 barrels of oil equivalent per day ("boe/d"), 86% natural gas, at a final sandface drawdown of 4%. Pressure data suggests that the well was still cleaning up at the end of the extended test period.

Does this mean the well has the capacity to produce more due to the statement above. And also this is the same test equipment that's going to test the deep so how do they test the deep when it couldn't cope with whats above.
Am I missing something here all.

Didn't Paul say they would be using different casing as Casca1 can only produce at a certain level because the casing can't take the high pressure on full flow , or very close to what I've said . The impression was Casca deep had better casing to allow better flowrates. They also fitted a top drive to help with better drilling control but I'm no expert.

So we could have another 20% gas added if the tests are good at Casca on reserves and fingers crossed an excellent flow rate.
I will take that any day of the week . I'm hoping Chinook can muster a commercial flow rate just to stick 2 fingers up to the market on that one but more importantly Txp will have learnt an awful lot from the chinook tests moving forward which can only help us .
The Chinook well cost us peanuts compared to offshore drilling and lets face it no matter what we are still going to have a mountain of cash coming in by end of year with the existing oil Wells and Coho/ And the Casca structures.
I know one thing and that's if Casca deep is good the market won't put the share price up as quickly as they dropped it, just like when we got the 2 billion pound contract it took a few days before they let it go.
I think we can safely say what we have found to date from many people working it out is Casca and Coho and existing oil wells is worth a lot more than this share price today .
So bring it on Txp and stick 2 fingers up to Aim .

I've just been reading that a pump lift can do upto 25000 bopd , that amazing I had absolutely no idea that was possible. The technology nowadays is truly incredible and makes you think how the hell they worked in the past which leads me on to Royston with shell drilling the original well.
You can understand why Txp and especially Roy are more excited about this well than any other due to speaking to the guys that actually did it and the understanding of what they have learnt up to this point. If only we could open the old well and test that 700ft of gas effect .
Very much looking forward to Royston as it's truly a monster in comparison to Casca and chinook put together and then some.
I was down beat after the last bit of news but the company has done amazing upto this point with 4 Wells done and 2 absolutely fantastic finds and we await for Casca deep results which could be 3 and still a small chance Chinook could do something.
Come on all that is an absolutely fantastic achievement from a 5 well programme with the last and biggest to come next month. Maybe we the investors have not managed our own expectations with poss getting ahead of ourselves which we all do.

So results on ewt at Chinook and Casca deep plus Royston to come and if only 1 comes in from them then it has been a hugely successful campaign, in fact it's been hugely successful anyway and any oil and gas company would be over the moon on a campaign like this.
So bring it on Txp .

Well we know chinook is a much bigger structure than Casca as in broader so could still hold a lot of oil , so till the extended test is completed we could still have an oil well that's commercial. Anything from the next tests has absolutely nothing priced in so if good will lift this right back up.
Whats people's thoughts on the rate of what would be commercial from chinook.

Well the first bloody day I don't look at the board and a bit godsmacked at the results. Just got to wait for the ewt at Chinook but don't hold much hope. If Casca deep gas test come back good the I'm more than happy as we will have 3 wells out the 4 good and if you gave that at the beginning of this campaign I would have snapped your arm off so how can we be to down on this .
I'm certainly not going to knock Paul as this is exploration for you so we move on to results from Casca deep the the monster called Royston .
