shorts reducing is definitely a good sign and all the chinese shares have been absorbed too.

I think something big is brewing otherwise why would shorts reduce and why chinese shares have been absorbed by the market? Like others said, to me it looks like Chinese entered with the intention to takeover the company but the Mooky's GTC providing the security for refinance has deterred Chinese for some reason.

Either way shorts reduced and Chinese shares absorbed and today morning price was solid despite yesterday's sell off. I thought it would drop 5-8% and may not recover.

Next week we will have US figures from Tenet all over the media so hopefully that will give confidence to everyone to pile in here and kick off the momentum again. GLA

tomorrow is a different day and all the sold out stocks including CINE will bounce back as obviously those who sold wouldn't want to be out over the weekend as Tenet is released today in US and the viewing numbers in US should boost CINE's SP next week.

Today's drop is more to do with the US market than anything related to CINE.

Tom, you are isolating ITV. There are many other companies in other sectors that are in the same boat as ITV. See IAG, EZJ, RR. etc Some positive news about vaccine caused this spike. When again news about rise in cases and local lockdowns is out, market will go down. Again not just ITV but others too.

AD revenue for ITV is just 23% down now compared to pre-covid levels, which is a very good news and this revenue will go up as we get closer to Christmas. Only thing we need to see is will GS allow this to rise to 70s. If they let it go to 70s then by Christmas this can easily hit 90p. Good to see nice rise and hope this continuous.

Mr. Spacetomato, well said. I have a feeling that shares are changing hands from one party to another while assuring Mooky that the SP will not be taken down. So I think shares might be going from someone else to our latest creditor SandGrove? Even tomorrow there will be transfer of these shares and from Monday next week, we should see a steady rise in SP as the Tenet figures come out.

2 blue days including today. SP now at one of the tranches that I bought and thinking if I should sell that. There seem to be some positivity in the markets today so will see how it plays today. GLA

Shorts have absorbed the shares from Chinese and SP is nicely still in 60s. Tenet release in US is going to be massive. With labor day release, next week will be good for CINE. Similar to UK release that made the SP jump to 68p on Tuesday, I expect next week we will see a similar rise and will sit in 70s comfortably.

Saint Tropez was mentioning about dilution to shareholders and I was only asking why there was no dilution throughout the lockdown period? If the funding was secured without any placings during the lockdown then why would there be a placing now? 250M credit is due for payment only in 2023, which is 3years from now and today's arrangement with Sandgrove also doesn't incur any interest payments for next 3 years so to answer you question about any interest payments on that 250M funding in June, I would say Mooky would have got it without any fees and interest payments!

I wonder how Mooky secured that funding without diluting the SP? Cinemas are opening and no lockdowns any more as vaccine will be available as well soon so CINE business will be back to normal so why would the lenders demand CINE for debt repayments when Covenants have been amended and now extended to Dec 9th. Back in May, they should have done equity raise when they were shutdown and they didn't do any placings just before re-opening. I think today's news is again a very positive news except for the chinese reducing the stake but their sell has been absorbed by the market already. May be absorbed by those who closed their shorts? This weekend Tenet release in US is going to be massive for the cinemas so I think CINE is ready to roar to new highs by next week. Just don't sell.

OK so the security is against the equity that Mooky's GCT holds in CINE and that means SandGrove also thinks that current SP is way undervalued and that there will be a significant rise in SP as more cinemas open and movies are released?

correct, refinancing is for Mooky's GCT and not for CINE.

Charge over their shares in CINE? Means any rise in CINE's SP would allow Mooky to sell shares to pay to SandGrove? or it could also mean that Sandgrove will acquire shares from Mooky's GCT as part of those charges? That is why they say DTRs will be announced which are basically TR1s about Mooky's shares?

Ban shorting the companies and I don't understand why it can't be done. Govt's have banned it in March and April but they should ban it forever. Companies that are shorted are losing the market value and then lenders say the market value doesn't support for more lending so issue more equity and dilute the price further? Atleast they should set a ceiling on how many shares can be shorted. I don't understand what is the purpose of short tracker list. Bloody FCA wouldn't do anything about it. The site says they don't track shorts below 0.5% but actually they should limit shorting to 0.5% and let market play with shorts up to 0.5% or may be increase that to 1% max.

went to 65p so that is 8% and it should be at 65p considering AMC gone up yday.

Can't believe my luck picking this share out of all the stocks from April. Thought this will be £1 by September and was excited back then in April but we are still in 50s even with covid slowly disappearing. I think am now down 25% down.
No equity rise so far and no need for that and debt is less and very much manageable and still down.

I thought ITV is like one of the FAANGS stock in US and thought a safe haven in this covid crisis but am wrong. Should have atleast invested in TESLA back in April with my £10k that I have put in here. That would have turned into whooping £40k but I have picked this dog despite monitoring Tesla every week since April.

I'm invested in CINE and that had gone to £1 twice already and now on the third run to £1. This bloody dog share is still in 50s. Feel like selling for a loss and move them to Tesla or CINE.

By year end debt could come down to £500m and still don't understand why there is so much selling pressure? Emailed ITV IR long back but no reply so far.

never go all in. Be ready to top up if it dips to avg down. But this morning it looked like the train was leaving 60s and entering 70s. Brexit negotiations killed all the momentum.

Momentum will build again next week as Tenet is released in US this weekend. After superb sales for Tenet in UK, shorts seem to be closing quick as it is going to be massive in US. Back to 70p in no time. Just stay away from the mouse click and your phone.

That guy everyday proves himself how stupid he is. Either he will miss the boat sitting on the sidelines or he will buy at a far higher price. You can tell he doesn't have guts to short either.

We cannot say if those are big buys or sells. It could be delayed trades as well although delayed trades usually show up after market hours. We are just down from 63p close on Friday to around 60p now. Those big trades could be the spike and fall since morning. The wider market is down. Tomorrow again will be a blue day as peeps will realise that they sold for no negative news.
