well our resident clown did the same last week. He talks of doom and gloom but bought CINE last week and sold at 10% profit it seems! He is buying quietly but at the same time talks about bankruptcy! I think his next buy target is at £1 and will sell again for 10% profit and when it drops to 90p or lower, he will be back again with his crap. But then again he will buy next at £1.50 due to his logic that buying at £1 is risky as it might fall back to 90p lower so he will wait for SP to go past £1 to buy again. He will still be happy to talk doom and gloom of CINE at £1.50 after selling again at 10%. Comedy gold! will he disappear after CINE at £1.50? I bet no!

Very nice article from Times! Cinema experience can't be beaten with a small screen. Who will pay extra $30 to watch a movie in a small screen when you get a better movie experience in a big screen.

Clearly the man in the business sees the future and made the investment decision for 4D screen and Chinese sees the future so they made their investment. Clearly any wise investor would listen to the man in the business and not someone on this BB who just write nonsense and calling it down all the time. Look at TESLA all the analysts are burnt calling it down all the time but it is going up and up. Fools Morgan Stanley had to raise their target now on Tesla! We have fools here posting analysts target prices. Bit of positive news and this will explode. Not long now just 4 days left for US opening. Onwards and upwards!

The situation we are in at this time is temporary. Today's price is very cheap and is the reason Chinese snapped 4% of the company! Why would they throw money like that! In just 4 days CINE is opening up in US!!! CINE will be back to business! Build it and they will come!

Correct, market valued CINE at £1 when the cases came down in US but the second spike in US caused CINE SP to go down although it was not complete sudden cliff fall. The same reverse will happen now as US is opening now. Coiled spring effect. Back to £1. It can bounce to £1 within few days and not weeks like it happened in June/Jul. Anyone not in will risk missing out the rise. Surelyany missed the rise to 50p from lows already. You have to be in it to win it and not be like the resident troll waiting for 2021 to buy as by that time CINE will be past £2!

Covid hit stocks like CINE and travel stocks are the last available sectors that are at bargain basement prices rest all other sectors have gone up almost back to pre-covid levels. Surely many of us are regretting to miss out on some of those stocks and CINE is the opportunity for anyone to make good money of their lifetime. Once the news about vaccine and the drugs for covid are out which most likely will be out by September then covid hit stocks will have meteoric rise and there will not be any opportunity again for buying again at these bargain prices.

We have Chinese investors upping their stake within a week and that itself should give enough confidence. Our amount is nothing compared to their investment and they wouldn't have upped their stake with due diligence on their research on CINE. Blackrock reduced their short a bit too and we are closer to US opening with Blockbusters lined up. Train is soon going to leave soon and I don't want to regret for not buying now. GLA

I believe there will be more investment from Chinese into UK and Europe as Trump is against Chinese so obviously they would like to invest in UK and Europe. With CINE, they will get access to CINEs US asserts! I too feel that they will increase their stake in the coming days.

With Chinese on buying spree am wondering if the shorts would reduce now?

It’s no secret that Hollywood has deferred movies to 2021 such is their appetite for theatrical release, rather than cut their losses and stream like PVOD.

Clearly they wouldn't defer the movies to 2021 if VOD is the way to make money. Analysts and others claiming that VOD will kill off Cinema theater is not true. Both will exist and many will not like to watch a movie like Gravity or Avatar in a small screen or any other 3D cinemas.

Also CINE has refurbished now with 4D experiences at several sites which surely will interest many families with kids. Cinemas are here to stay forever.

Just once the covid is gone, there is going to be massive bounce in stocks across the sectors and don't think investing in a fund is not going to fetch as much returns as equities.

My blood boils when I see posts from In-depth. Posting same constant crap about debts and fitch when many others have explained him that he is wrong about the way he is looking at debts. He thinks other similar and smaller cinema chains can survive but not CINE! Chinese investor scooped millions of shares and they are confident on CINE and this guy does not have an answer why they are confident but he still talks about CINE going down. Alex, agree. This is clearly being manipulated. When the one who is holding the brakes release it, massive bounce should be on the way. It is very clear GS are manipulating it. We just have to wait until they finish playing with ITV. Seen few stocks that have potential have been held back and suddenly they bounce with a massive rise. Just another thing I feel is that IIs might be slowly moving the stock from FTSE 100 tracker to FTSE 250 funds as it seems likely that it will be ousted from FTSE 100. So without taking it down too much they are selling more few days and then buying it back again after few days and that could be the reason for fluctuation. If someone knows the date for next FTSE 100 reshuffle then I believe this will move up after that date. IMO

Another vote to DHC and RS for their hard work. Also a big thanks to Laidback, Mool, Johny, Max, Purchase, Sum and many others! We will get our £1+ soon. Big Chinese investors loaded up despite the advise from Shorter guy and Indepth! Onwards and upwards! GLA

Strukov said UGC don't have any interest in taking over so if he sticks to his words then at some point we could see POG going in to FTSE 100.

Also Everest may not agree everything with UGC so like Rusty said Everest and other major SHs can unite together to counter UGC for any cheap takeover. Onwards and upwards!

Well thing that assures me is that atleast company is not going to go bust...I mean about ITV but really we all have been backing a wrong horse since April! Look at US stocks, all recovered back to pre covid levels and infact have gone higher. I missed out TESLA despite keeping an eye on it every week since April instead I have put money in ITV and this dog is back to April levels! I had invested in Facebook at 151p and 206p last year and due to covid sold it at 205p and 161p in March and did not invest back into FB and now FB is at 270!!! I have managed to buy TESLA at $900 and then again at $1400

US stocks are much better than FTSE stocks. I think I will be out from ITV before start of October or as soon as we hit 75p. Winter is no doubt going to rattle markets and ITV will be in forefront to go lower than any other FTSE 100 stock. Buy again in Feb next year. Today topped up at 63.25p to bring my my avg down so I guess 75p should be break even for me and hope it gets there soon. ATB

seem to have clearly in majority with the way the voting went through, it looks like any future voting would be easily won by them. If that is the case then if UGC proposes for a take over at a cheap price then is there a way to stop them? I wonder if this could also be one reason why Alya sold her shares considering that a cheap take over is in the pipeline? She could have sold it at a much higher price than Friday's closing price? Feeling bit uneasy with the way voting has gone through. would like to hear from others on why they think cheap take over is not possible? By cheap take over I mean, it could be below 30p as UGC and Everest have bought/converted shares at 13p
