If Monday atleast they make up their mind and issue RNS about what they are doing with the deal then certainty will be removed. Market doesn't like uncertainty.

Market doesn't like uncertainty and today's news has a roadmap now. Debts and convenants sorted out. More IIs will be piling if they want to participate in the placing and why will they issue equity at 26p if it is not going to rewards investors participating it? Onwards and upwards!

Found the below from RNS. AVCT will be doing the mass manufacturing of the product at its site in Wetherby. Bit surprised that they thought about placing for mass production so late or could it be that they want to use the money for other products in the pipeline -

Is this placing also for manufacturing of kits? Who will be manufacturing the POC kit if and when it has CE marking? Medusa 19 will manufacture and distribute? Cytivia only develops the kit and not manufacture mass volumes right? GDR have done placing 1 month before the CE marking. RNS stated thatf the placing money is for number of products but did not clearly mention the purpose of the placing money for each of their products.

Myles, your part 2 research was concentrated on the potential around Neutralising therapy that AVCT is working on.

I think many are invested for the saliva based POC test kit which can have global demand across every sector to open up the economy. But based on the RNS from today and from your update, it appears like we are now talking about the potential with Neutralising therapy rather than the saliva based POC kit?

There is already a saliva based test kit with FDA EUA. Any thoughts on how AVCT is poised compared to the competitors on the saliva based POC kit?

Well scart that is the difference in the thinking when your avg price of GDR investment is under 80p. Unfortunately mine is above 150p.

based on that response from Walbrook, it looks like they will issue RNS for the first sales order irrespective of how big that is? If the subsequent orders are big enough then RNS will be announced.

I think first sales in June may be just a sale order but we don't know how big that would be to warrant RNS.
Based on Walbrook response that I received, it seems that GDR is still being evaluated by the customers!

Product is CE marked but customers are not buying the product just because it is CE marked! The data from CE marking has gone to Sysmex on May 22nd and it is now end of 2nd week so most likely next week Sysmex will have the product listed and they will talk to their customers to get orders so looks like we will not have any news about Sales until July.

Only hope is news about WHO approval before July or atleast RNS about another distribution partner.

It has only been 7 working days since CE marking was granted – and the data that will have come in as part of the CE marking is only be available to Sysmex following the announcement on Friday 22 May. They won’t begin full marketing of the product openly on their website immediately as major distributors will tend to get customer referrals / evaluations undertaken first and this is what they are doing at the moment.
Any distribution agreements will be reviewed on a case for case basis in terms of whether they merit a regulatory announcement – if they come with significant obligations to purchase minimum numbers of test then this is likely to warrant an announcement, compared to a distribution agreement with no associated orders. I would expect that first sales orders and subsequent significant orders would be the subject of stock exchange announcements, if and when they come through.

@brocher86, well done for getting in at 53p. Some you win and some you lose.

I bought a grand when it was at 59p and bailed out quickly when there was a talk about recession. Watched when this was at 53p and 54p but was stuck in covid stocks and suddenly from 61p it jumped to 75p and thought that was high and waited for a dip but kept moving up so now in due to FOMO! I have been skeptic about the cinemas due to covid but looks like if you wear a mask then you can go anywhere you want. Hopefully this will go to 120p atleast soon.

I still think CINE should stop pursuing the deal. AMC in US is struggling for survival! Once news that deal is delayed or collapsed then surely SP will rocket but if they decide to pursue then SP may tank?

I bought a grand at 94p when it spike to 101p thinking that was cheap then bought another grand at 90p, 85p and am in red for this tiny amount.

Nightyard, I see you invested in ITV too? I'm in there too at 70p so that is doing OK.

I'm hoping that CINE will do a Halfords rise to 150p soon once it is confirmed that cinemas in UK can be opened.

don't think we will get any RNS about sales order this week. Based on the email from PR, it seems the product is being evaluated when I asked why the kit is not listed on Sysmex website. I think they meant to say that customers of Sysmex are evaluating the product and not Sysmex itself. But they mentioned that they are talking to number of prospects and will issue RNS if the order is big enough to warrant RNS.

So RNS can land anytime once they receive a big sales order.

PR also mentioned that they cannot issue RNS about submission to FDA and WHO but it seems like they are working on FDA EUA submission and for WHO approval.

Definitely more and reliable testing kits are needed and with our almost 100% accuracy product, it should not be a problem in getting FDA EUA soon. Just need to be patient. I guess PEEL, BFG, Calculus in the mean time are playing games and they will pile up next week as it will be the third week since CE marking so any news can come out until next week we better switch off watching SP but am unable to! bloody not able to do my day work properly. I think this will easily go to £1 by end of June.

When I said CK replied back to confirm commercialisation in summer months some didn't believe that email I shared was fake.

CK was disappointed when they were forced to issue RNS. CK knows what the company is worth for and it will be multiples of today's market cap when they start selling to the retailers. Govt will not be involved in discussions with price negotiation with the retailers. They will of course would like to ensure that hospitals get the kit first before it is sent to retailers.

I expect more RNS about agreement with major retailers like Amazon, NHS about distribution of the kit and also agreements outside of UK.

As mentioned this is the last opportunity to see a rise like NCYT.

Yes and once the Design freeze completion includes tie up with the retailers like Amazon and others, we should be easily at £2+
There will be significant demand for the product and ODX is the one manufacturing it!
