Badshah, it is worth taking a dip here in POG despite management issues. I'm surprised too that POG is about to be included in GDXJ when it should already have been. Anyway it is a good news and hopefully there should be a nice uplift in price here with POG after Sep 18th when it gets included in GDXJ. Most of the trades here are controlled by bots.

POG BB has no life. It is the most boring BB of LSE. No one wants to share anything. Even if you ask a question there is no response. Most of the people here only want to talk about negativity in POG. LT investors in POG are looking to get out as soon as they can as they have bought POG when this was in pounds. Hopefully by next year with dividends, this reaches £1. I think I will hold till next year as mine is not a big amount invested here.

GGP should be interesting from Monday. ATB

Nice to know that Mushroom kid. I want to buy as I don't want to regret seeing the price going up and not able to buy later at higher price. If it goes lower can wait as the price eventually will rise when all of the incoming positive news that hydrogen highlighted arrives. I can avg down if price goes lower but don't think we are seeing teens any more!

Just wondering why NC did a takeover deal with Red Chris but not with GGP yet? Why NC is not bothered about increasing MCap of GGP?
Bit of a concern to me that without NC takeover, GGP may not reach dizzy heights that we all are hoping for? I wanted to go all in since 8p, 11p days but the thought of NC not throwing any offer yet is concerning me a bit . NC seems to be happy drilling but still not throwing any offer like they did with Red Chris. Surely they don't want to pay billions to do the deal with GGP considering the ever increasing MCap of GGP? Red Chris deal was under a billion I think need to check that. Any opinions on what is that NC is waiting for ?

Even if there is placing, there will be not be retrace. Many will be buying at whatever price it is placed.

If you look at TESLA, the talk of inclusion to SP500 caused huge spike but now collapsed when they were not included. Now with GGP we surely seems to get included into ETF fund and the sentiment is positive so there should be a good rise. IMO

not made a single penny on this dog since last 3 yrs...thought not to sell whenever it turned blue thinking that it might go to £1 day but bloody last 3 -4 yrs this just kept going down. When was the last time it was in 70p? Don't know how many more years to wait to get to 70p? Money just stuck in this bloody bank. paltry dividend was cancelled too. Could have made loads of money with others shares using the amount that I invested in this bloody dog. RANT over.

Jerry and others, what are your thoughts on Newcrest offer to GGP? Will they buyout or GGP keep HAV but get paid royalties? Considering the current MCap of £720M, if Newcrest are to buyout GGP then probably without looking at Scallywag and other sites, I think £2Bn minimum is reasonable?

But looking at the way Newcrest are going at this it makes me wonder why they are not throwing an offer to GGP? If the deals ends up as paying royalties to GGP for the mine life time then wonder how much would GGP receive and whether GH would be ok to have just royalties? I think it is a no as once MRE is out, GH will be in a top position to do the discussions so if not Newcrest then he can easily get another one considering the MRE assessed? What we just need to know is how much would be the end MRE?

Zoros, yes was looking at SOLG since longtime but any momentum there gets killed off for some reason. Could be due to everyone getting into GGP! I'm into POG, which seems to be very undervalued and that could rise to £1 if the new mgmt get their act right quickly. Again invested minuscule amount compared to others here. Don't know if I need to sell POG for now and move it here and get back to POG later. Many decisions to be made but life is short. GLA

Now going back to GGP, based on my learning so far, tomorrow could be a dip and then rise again. GLA

well shorts have increased to 8.15% from 7.99%...not big but we also have many PIs selling off due to the virus fears and due to the fear induced by the trolls here. Anyways one thing for sure is that the world's 2nd largest cinema chain will survive for next 50yrs but we just need to wait and see how the things will pan out.

Bloody Boris govt is already panicking about the virus when the deaths are low. Even if the numbers have risen when the deaths are low, there is no need to talk about 6 point rule. I think it is just a precaution but enough to panic the market and the common people. We just need to switch off and wait till 24th Sept to see what the update is going to be. Another 2 weeks to go for the update. Wish I had enough funds to keep topping up everytime this is down by 5% but not worried. Blimey Jerry! you still hold 27M shares ??? If I calculate the lowest when GGP gone to after NM ignored us SP dived to .05 pence(less than 1pence) so 27M * .0005= £13500? Is that what you invested initially? After SP dived that low you still managed too throw £13500 is balls of steel!

I was ****ting pants those days and lost a thousand at that time and thought enough is enough with GGP but bloody hell look how GGP turned into a monster now! Just in 2yrs time!

Anyways well done to all those who held! This is once in a life time opportunity and some of you lucky gents/ladies grabbed the opportunity! I was still early in investing those days and still learning but hopefully I will grab something like this in future! Would be nice if any tips on any opportunities like GGP! GLA
