It makes sense to restrict travel to people who are not vaccinated and impose fine on them. Why restrict people who are vaccinated? The idea of vaccine certificate and passports is to allow travel to those who are vaccinated. What is the point of having a vaccine and still have restrictions? Vaccinated people will not transmit virus isn't it?

The current dire situation is with the delay with vaccination in EU. Once enough vaccines are made available to all the countries then everything should be back to normal so holidays in August could be possible if EU ramps up vaccination and they surely will. UK vaccinated half of the population in 2-3 months ? US seems to be doing well too so travel should be possible to US and to countries where infection rates are low, they will accept tourists who are vaccinated.

The lockdown in EU is for one month and this could be the last lockdown for EU too while they ramp up vaccination in this one month so travel in May is unlikely to EU countries but possible bro other countries under traffic light system so all is not lost.

Am going to ride this out. My BT shares are still in bottom drawer since one year and I didn't bother to top up even when they touched 98p. But it now bounced up to 150p last week. Compared to that RR. will easily bounce back.

Remember the traffic light system and the quarantine measures will help some travel. All is not lost still. We are still in March and if vaccination is ramped up in EU in months time then situation will be much different by May. Anyway who wants to go to France and Germa y for holidays? I think Cyprus, Portugal, Greece and other countries are doing ok and under the traffic light system, holidays should be possible. It is not just holidays, travel to US seems very likely. US is the biggest market and they are doing well with vaccines so that should help.

We know they will make a deal. This Thursday when they meet, most likely there would be a statement about the deal and accelerating vaccines in EU.

Tomorrow a little bounce and may close flat at the same price. Hold tight.

I do not think there will be any volatility after April 1st. Why one would sell if the dividend is in the pipeline and POO expected to be at $65? HE makes lot of money with POO at $65. Currently it is shorted so we see SP declining a bit but did hit 33p with POO at $70 few weeks back despite shares being shorted. After April 1st, there is no case for shorting considering the amount of free cash flow that HE makes. Jefferies have a 30p price target on re-open.

I feel bad news is already priced in on Friday close. Monday may be bit nervy but might close at 117p.

EU is sorting their act and in few weeks time, thinks will look much different for better!

Cyprus, Turkey, Portugal, Greece cannot survive without tourism. Even Spain too. Lockdown in Italy and Paris is only for a month and they will accelerate vaccination in one month time. That is why our ministers are not completely ruling out holidays for this year. They want to wait and watch the vaccine progress. Certainly EU countries are under pressure to accelerate vaccine so in months time situation will be much different. Transatlantic routes will kick off too.

We will see £1.69 target by GS for sure.

They say sooner or later travel will resume and RR. is well below the Feb2020 level so any dips should be and will be bought easily.
I bought at 105p, 116p, 120p, 121p, 122p, 124p, 125p. All 120s purchase was in last 2 days. £20k invested so far and looking to buy another 15k on the dips.

US and UK routes will get busier by June. Most of UK will get vaccinated by June despite current delays. By June we should see 150p or close to it. 140p atleast is easily achievable.

The lockdown is just for a month. On Monday when Italy announced lockdown for a month, RR. was at 118p and in next 2 days it shot up to 128p as it is just a month lockdown and could be a final one and market was forward looking. This Monday lockdown by Paris and Germany is priced in already as the SP came down to 118p by Friday from 128p.

There could be a dip but this will easily spring back up. Surely many were kicking themselves after this moved up so quickly to 128p so any dip on Monday will be bought quickly including myself.

It is only a month lockdown. EU already said that this year holidays will go on. Most likely this will be the last lockdown in EU too.

Turkey, Greece, Portugal, Cyprus are all open for tourists. They are not in lockdown.

Market is always forward looking so RR. will be back to 120 very soon.

the way this has moved so quickly to 128p, I think in June when everything opens up, we could easily see 150p.
US is opening up too and they are now way ahead with the vaccine rollout.
Biden is also opening up transatlantic route soon. Once the planes are in the sky, RR. can easily go up above 150p.

even I made big blunders last 2 days and today. Actually bloody Bloomberg was showing headlines in the morning that EU disputing vaccine is resolved and FED assured no rate hikes until 2023 and futures up, were the headlines so I thought it is all going as per plan and started adding more. Added 10K in 2 days in tranches but every time I buy, this dog was going down.

I think many put big chunks in RR as the current price is a bargain basement and easily this can go £2 but due to the big chunks that many put in, people get nervy when there is a drop and decisions need to be made either to hold or sell when SP drops. Lucky for those who got in early in 90s and 70s. I have a small amount that I bought at 105 but could not add more as my ISA was full and money stuck in other stocks.

April 6th ISA allowance re-opens! Surely from April 6th, bargain shares like RR. will be scooped up and I think we will see 1.30p by then and further up after that. Bad today. Hope next week is good. GLA

HL and Google shows close as 118.40p

It is clear that a bit of bad news is all required for RR. to go down or take it down by nervous investors and MMs.

Am gutted as well. Did not expect this drop. Every time am adding, it is dropping further down. Did 3 top ups today morning all above 120 thinking oversold and now look it is at 118p. All gains have been erased. Had profit in thousands and now with all the top ups, in big red now. 5% drop is bloody ridiculous. Anyways I will need to stop looking at the SP. Need to sell some other holdings and will need to avg down. I hope that the rise will be as quick as the drop today and y'day. April hopefully change things.

Moola, I think you nailed it. If there is going to be dilution why would there be a bonus scheme based on SP.

Like I mentioned y'day night, I was pondering on where to invest my 10k, RR. or CINE. I think I made the decision. Hopefully tomorrow first thing morning, I will get a nice entry. GLA

NOFEAR and others, am looking to add more and double what I already have here but am just worried about one thing, which is about issue of equity. Does anyone think CINE would need to do that? CINE survived the lockdown so far without raising equity and they have secured refinancing as well isn't it? Don't see why they would raise one now? Any thoughts on this please?

I was expecting a word of caution about the creditor shares and I have not seen one so probably the sale of shares will be balanced out.
I will be happy as long as SP is around 30p even after the enlarged shares. Any drop in April will be mopped up I think.

Results day tomorrow!

So far none of the analysts have talked about the flood of billion shares and the sell off of those by the creditors. Although creditors are locked in for 3-6 months depending on the size of the holding but there are millions of shares that can be sold and none of the analysts are talking about it so probably there is not going to be any sell off as some are scaremongering here about sell off.

Also I don't understand the Melqart strategy, they have increased shorts and the price keeps going up so how are they benefitting by increasing their shorts when the SP is not falling? They are one of the creditors and don't see any other shorting PMO other than Melqart. Probably they are just trying their luck to see if the SP falls as the loss from the short will be covered easily with the new shares that they get?

I have £10k ready to invest. Currently £15k invested here.

All the above 3 that am invested in are around the same price. Now my hands are itchy to invest only into one of the above 3 shares and sell remaining. ITV is a slow mover but very low risk and don't have to check the SP constantly.
RR. is a low risk too but still highly volatile like CINE.
But I think CINE will win the race to £2?
