tryhardernow, yes bit frustrating to see RR. not going up as much as IAG but TUI is up by 1%+ same like RR so that way we are not too bad.

Also this is heavily manipulated by the big IIs. Price is very much controlled by them. End of financial year is coming so I guess some book keeping by them and keeping this low.

April 6th, new ISA allowance comes into play and I feel lot many will buy RR. as this is the only FTSE100 share that is in a bargain basement price.

Airlines are going up today so I wonder what the naysayers reasoning is for airlines to go up when they were talking alot about the travel restrictions? They have no clue!

Vaccine ramp up in EU will make things look much better and from now on, we should start moving up daily and then a sudden jump to 120s will be nice! I think by May we should be easily in 120s.

I have a small punt here but the hopes are dashing away every day.
MHRA approved another covid test as above but AVCT is still nowhere near to it. It is really frustrating seeing other products being approved by MHRA but not AVCT.

I think CE validation is not enough and it needs MHRA approval as well?

The only thing is that though so many testing products have come to the market since last year but none have been able to help with re-opening of economy although gold standard PCR is the one that is being used for testing and it is slow.

So may be AVCT product is being examined with fine tooth comb by MHRA?
I think CE Approval alone is not enough? MHRA approval is required as well? I may be wrong on this as I vaguely remember about ODX's Abc 19 test where it got CE approval but had to wait for MHRA approval in December?

Another big news that I forgot to mention earlier is about the ITP sale.
£1.5Bn sale is almost done so RR will have enough liquidity to see any further lockdowns in 2021 and it can easily survive till 2022 even with lockdowns in 2021.

I believe EU also is going to have the last lockdown this April and they will open up big in May.

RR. will turn cash positive in second half as per the results so not all is bad with RR. We just need to be bit patient.

Some of the naysayers have not heard of traffic light system for travel I think. If some countries are in Red list then travel is possible to other countries like to US and to APAC and to other countries that are not in the red list.
Countries will come out of red list as they make progress with vaccine. France says they will catch up with UK within 2 weeks and I think other EU countries will catch up soon. Situation will look much better by end of April.

All that matters to RR. is the flying hours. It doesn't matter whether the flight is full or not. It is quite loud and clear about the travel news since last 2 weeks and it was the reason we dropped from high of 128p to 105p.

Market is just waiting for a bit of good news, this will bounce hard and you can't play catch up then.
Travel bubble with other countries will soon be formed. Transatlantic route will be very beneficial for both IAG and RR.

We also have 20s covid test coming up and Heathrow has been trying various tests to allow travel.

Spain and Amsterdam recently have allowed a mass music festival after testing the crowd and they were allowed only after negative test. Likewise, tests will be available for the travel too so I expect some news around testing next week or so from the govt.

So the travel restrictions is already priced in and we just need a bit of good news for a tennis bounce soon.

I think this is a fantastic news. I just scrolled through the annual reports. We are due to receive around $220M tax credit by April 2021. Directors believe that we will receive this without hiccups.

Now cinema admission rates should be atleast higher than 19% of 2019 levels to avoid any breaches. That should be easily done considering the vaccine progress in US and UK. Covenants are not due until June 2022.

Also the new bond issued has a equity conversion at a price of £1.28 so bond holders agreeing to £1.28 is a big sign of confidence on CINE?

With debt no much higher than what it was by December 2019 and they made Cineplex deal as well back then, we are in a much better position now without Cineplex deal and as the vaccine progress continues like now and opening road map still the same, I think it is all blue skies from April 2nd once we reopen. RR. will come good this year. We just don't know when in this year we will see £1.50p. If the bloody EU had not thrown the spanner in the vaccine progress, we would have been at £1.35 comfortably considering this was at 128p 2 weeks back.

This weekend news has been positive on vaccine front and we now clearly what is happening to holidays so tomorrow by 9.30am we will know which way RR. is going. I feel 105p is the bottom and we may not see 105p tomorrow. IMO. DYOR. GLA

Their PM says they will catch up with UK on vaccine rollout in just 2 weeks! End of April EU situation will look much better. Traffic light system will enable travel and most importantly transatlantic routes , Israel, APAC routes are opening too. It doesn't matter which country is in lockdown for RR. as all that matters is the flying hours so even if BA flight is not full or the American Airlines as long as they fly to a place , RR. makes money.

Any dips will be quickly bought in next 2 weeks. I would say all bad news is priced in already causing the drop from 128p to 105p.

We are now seeing lot of positive news on vaccine front so I think 105p is the bottom.

NT, I bought one tranche at 1.27 and then sold at 1.25 for a small loss and my £10k purchase at 1.17 is in big red. I got worried when Bergen sale fell through but ITP sale came in quite quick as I thought ITP sale might have similar problems.

So ITP sale is almost bagged and I feel bad news as well priced in if you look at the upgrade for airlines by BofA.

I'm thinking to top up with £5k on Monday morning if I get 106p. I have added £5k in CINE on Friday just before ITP sale news otherwise I would have added it here. I will let CINE run for 2 weeks to see how it goes and will take it out and add here with profits from CINE if any after April 5th.

After April 5th, we will know what the bottom is as 5th is when we get to hear from idiot Boris about travel.

We now have a buyer for ITP and the bidder is from Spain so the sale will go through unlike Bergen asset. Moreover, there are number of other parties interested in so ITP sale could be higher than £1.5bn.

BofA upgraded IAG to 250p and upgraded other airlines too despite forecasted travel restrictions so it is a good news for RR.

105P is the bottom I believe. I'm ploughing in another £5k on Monday.

On deals like WB in next 4-6 weeks it seems.
Each RNS from now on should bolster the SP. There is a SH vote approval on April 12th ish...

Apple is a $2 Trillion company and Tesla is just $550bn as of now. He is making fool of himself tweeting like that. Let the business do the talking.

But again height be planning something big. Merge Spacex with Tesla? Or the Solar business and Battery segment have any big announcements?

Hope he comes up with something big as per his tweets otherwise SP is going to tank badly. I'm not adding anymore but if it goes back into 500s then probably might top up. Earnings results in April so we may see some momentum in share price in April. Really want the price to go back to $700. Let's see what he got up his sleeve in 3 months time...
