Yes, Tyhra, that’s par for the course I’m afraid. Literally dozens of AIM CEOs behave like that. I’m not pretending GR is in any way good, I’m merely saying he’s quite typical. There are actual crooks and fraudsters on here, though, and GR for all his faults does genuinely believe he’s a real businessman.
No, Watcher, GR is not the worst CEO on AIM.
He’s pretty useless, but so are most AIM CEOs, at least in this section of the AIM. He’s not a crook, though. It’s the crooks you have to watch out for.
And a small profit is better to live with than bankruptcy.
No, it won’t be 10p by Friday. It might be 1p by Friday or it might be 3p by Friday. It was hideously undervalued and now it’s just undervalued, some of us LTH’s haven’t broken even yet!
It’s not a brilliant company by a long way, it has had and continues to have problems, but it does have assets that are worth more than the current MCap and a reasonable prospect of realising them. I maintain that 6p is about right, but it will take a while to get there. Buy the dips, as they say. GLA.
Doubtful. This has 7 times the MCap that VAST does.
PREM and VAST were once comparable. Prem has stayed more or less investable throughout, despite GR’s multiple failures. VAST collapsed. I’m hoping it comes back enough for me to escape!
As for PREM, 1p would be very nice indeed. 0.7p is certainly realistic.
Absolutely justified re-rating from an abysmally low and indeed (still!) silly MCap. This should never have been below 6p a share.
You don’t need a leak, just publicly available facts.
Well I HOPE this continues. I’m so far underwater that I had written this off until yesterday. A small average down is already making a break-even look possible if this isn’t just a flash in the pan. I don’t think it is: the valuation last week was ridiculous. And it was a very good RNS.
It’s a share to be careful with. It used to be more promising than PREM, in a similar area, but I got out of PREM (a basket case IMO) with a small profit and no averaging down and I’m still under water here despite the rise.
But this does look like a corner being turned at long last.
GLA
Bad luck to those who got spiked.
Medium term this should get moving again, but that last RNS wasn’t quite all it was ramped up to be!
When I invested here it was 1.4p and almost completely ignored by the market. I watched in considerable frustration as the board put out one positive RNS after another, all to resounding silence. So right now, even though this price is still on the low side, I’m feeling good. At least we are being talked about.
This is beginning to take off, I think. Not before time. Better than being ignored at least. I just hope it doesn’t become a “typical AIM share”.
Earlier today I really thought that the bottom had been found and a big bounce was on. So did many others, hence some nice buys. But the shorters/bots are back in charge, the buyers have bought, the white flags are out. Where next? 18p looks an interim target. Maybe the big bounce will come from there. I wouldn’t bet on it though.. It’s ridiculous.
Yes, that’s the point I was making. You can expect that to change as a whole lot of previously unknown people join. Let’s see anyway.
No real mystery. The “usual suspects” who have ignored AAU for years have turned their sights on it. This is probably still at the early stage of buying stakes though - May drift back down when they’ve filled up, to be followed by the ramping operation. I think targets will be around 4p, so expect this board to be full of “10p by August” predictions to draw in the mug punters.
I did press the button. Around 11 am iirc. Lost it all since in other AIM rubbish, though.
Talking about this. Most significant onshore gas find in a generation, etc.
Is this the new Gatwick gusher? I remember what happened the day that news came in...
Does anyone here actually want to discuss AAU?
This share is, at last, attracting a bit of notice in the markets. Usually, such developments (and there has been a lot of news recently) leads to a lively board, with people sharing information and views, more or less informed, welcoming newbies and giving insight into the company management. This discussion in turn goes along with more price action.
None of that here, just people arguing about other companies and unrelated matters.
Weird.
Strange there has been no word on lifting the suspension, given that the money is supposed to have been sorted several days ago.
The thing about TW is that the shares he slates usually turn out to be duds. Or perhaps more accurately, if they weren't duds to begin with they are by the time he has finished slating them. He's good at talking shares down, in other words. Once he has a vendetta against a company it's usually a matter of time before he succeeds in destroying it.
On the other hand, the shares he talks up almost invariably underperform and often turn out to be total frauds to boot. Anyone remember Teathers?
Profit. Profit. Profit. PROFIT!!!!!!
When did that ever happen to MDZ?
Well done. I suspect you got today's best price there!
The 30s will come again, but I suspect not very soon. We shall see. A few weeks or months slumming it in the low 20s is my best guess.
If you can get 28p, thank your lucky stars and grab it
