The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Would like to think not but this RNS seems almost designed to provoke feelings of impotence and despair. What a disgrace.
Drummond and co are reading this board and ******* themselves. They should be.
What is the plan here? Only logical action I can see is to pass a motion winding up the company and distributing the cash. Is that the idea?
Well I suppose that write up is an attempt to address TW's deep embarrassment (if he had any shame, though I don't think he does) for plugging this scam a few months ago. Would be nice to get an apology, but I doubt it.
Teathers is scheduled to be presenting at TW's investment show next weekend. I wonder if they'll turn up. I'd suggest any disgruntled shareholders who want to confront them go along on the off chance.
It always makes a loss. This however is a much smaller loss, which raises the possibility that next time it might be a profit. So it's good.
It should be worth a punt. They have a plan now, and it does have a long way to go to where it was in the early summer, let alone a year ago.
The RNS of 21st Aug was clearly designed to promote buys. It failed to point out the NAV which, curiously, became so significant in this morning's RNS, which was equally clearly designed to encourage sells. How do they get away with it?
My thoughts exactly.
Last night
Go away and come back in six months, was the message here. What a downer after yesterday.
Last two days of LOND?
Cf "Superstition in pigeons", the classic paper by BF Skinner.
30th September RNS stated "within 8 months". So that's now within six months.
This bit is particularly good: "At the moment, Bioquell is involved in the decontamination of health care facilities around the world that have housed Ebola patients. Those include three hospitals in the United States, as well as hospitals in the UK, France and Holland. Recently, 20 of the company’s single-patient room Pods have been deployed in the middle east to help a hospital combat the spread of viruses. A small technology company from Andover—this ties in with my hon. Friend’s third point—is therefore leading specialist decontamination work in Europe and the US, helping to combat Ebola through the provision of safe single rooms." Something to take pride in, as well as invest in, I think.
Interesting spot, thanks.
Shame we aren't you mean? If we were there would be an RNS for every little deal and the ramping teams would have heard of us!
Interesting piece. Not sure if it has been posted already. http://www.techtimes.com/articles/17837/20141015/will-i-am-smart-watch-will-launch-oct-16-wants-you-to-forget-apple-watch.htm
Great news indeed. If only the company could issue a celebratory RNS to let people here know!
Should we be expecting news, eg more sales?
