This RNS

"Given the timing of completion of the final procurement contracts, final lender commitment letters are expected to be received in December 2018 and January 2019."

To me this suggests that anybody who had champagne on ice for Christmas will need to wait a little bit longer, still overall great news and importantly they give the reason for the delay.

Your scenarios exclude the possibility that with ST2 out the way and a Euro Torp the company and so by extension the shares would be worth more. For me that's the reason to hold my shares now. To put it another way, yes dilution might happen but not at today's prices.

If i had a sudden windfall now (say from Grandad in Baghdad), I'd probably put a third in now, save a third and have a third in an investment trust away from SXX.

Good job the equity raise isn't this week then ;-), they're factoring in the completion of stage 2 and further Torps, I think that would raise the share price even with the spectre of dilution (which is a worst case scenario)

Isn't this why the IPA guarantee is essential, wouldn't that take things down to the more commonly seen ratios you mention.

I've often wondered the same about directors buying, surely if you're privy to information that could make the share a sure fire bet you'd be forbidden from trading in it. Especially if that information was about government funding.

Imagine the public uproar if the board bagged themselves lots of shares, then the government backing was announced.

Meanwhile I'm just going to put the kettle on (i'll be using tea bags) and focus on both the picture of CF with Phillip Hammond (posted by Talygarn Tom) and the Tesla shorts being burned to see if either bring me some inner warmth.

You need to take into account

1) The interest rate
2) The fact that the money won't all be drawn down at once.

Personally FWIW, I think it's a combination of twitchy investors, and market conditions (rising US corporate bond rates?). Tomorrow does indeed look like it's going to be a stinker all round with the after hours trackers already having the ftse on -120

DickyBoy (19:43) mentions a leak. I'm curious as to where he got his information from. It's the first time I've used a forum like this so it might take a few posts to get the hang of things

Can I ask where you heard / read this rumour? This is the first time I've heard this mentioned as something that has been leaked
