John there'll be an element of hedging no doubt, and shorts can be a healthy part of the market bringing an element of realism to runaway share prices.

Hi Myo, I can only take a guess as to how these things work sometimes but somebody or more likely a group of people have made an educated guess as to what can be raised ( I'm sure your aware of this just thinking out loud) meaning there is most likely the demand out there for the bonds, if that wasn't the case I'd expect the make up of stage 2 to be different as the last thing the board wants to do now is waste time.

And regardless of whether or not the banks are investing directly the fact is more money is being raised through bonds at a later stage and so drumming up interest is needed.
