I pretty sure there are rules about the proximity of humans with those semi autonomous excavation vehicles, but that doesn't mean they don't involve the need for humans.

im sure the locals will be ok with the tech SML are going to use, its means less risk as less people deep in mines yet at the same time will require operators and multiple supporting roles.

I've gone down to as low as £3k and I still cant get a live price.

I don't ramp, I merely stated that the managing director (financial expert) SML have running the business might, just might know that there's a small shortfall according to last months accounts.

I bet either a short term loan against what SML is owed from the big customer

The cash is not that far off, remember it's not depleting SML are at least covering costs with Cobre if not generating more.

Short term loan is an easy one to get with the generating assets.

You never know JP might know something we don't yet know regarding mr big from Cobre, maybe there's a payment or 2 coming from them....

I'm happy and heavily invested, its unlikely to be anything more than a short term loan, but even a small placing for 50% of redmoor is worth it.

I would be pretty sure all HC work will have been shelved so no updates will be coming, perhaps they could say confirm that, but although it was one of the reasons I invested, i really dont care.

I suspect its more about prioritisation.

We now know Redmoor to be world class and with that SML needs all their available funds for that.

HC is speculative compared to the other 3 projects, but even if SML find Cobalt/gold/Nickel/Rare earths and geology indicates a possibility there will be no funds to develop until after Redmoor is running or a agreement is in place that frees up some funds.
If i remember it was Nickel Sulphides and Cobalt SML found in some levels, but lets not forget SML sold some tenements that had gold levels as SML is not a gold producer, its clear to me there will be resources in those 20 tenements.

Whether its commercial or interesting to SML doesnt matter at the moment as the less risky option is to grow the other 3 projects.

There is not much in it either way when power is generated from gas or coal. Add to that the assumption that the lithium packs will be recycled (there not at the moment), extraction processes wil improve and its clear the jury is still out on a definative answer.

Dont forget there are also many other considerations, such as materials used in the car/EV and there impact on the local environment, we are moving to materials that are harder to recycle to reduce weight.

A the final point of total power capacity, some days the national grid is close to power generating capacity, how the hell are we going to power 30,000,000+ cars?

I do think ICE has peaked.

Moving away from car ownership may play a part.

with 500 cycles before Lithium tech batteries battery start to degrade and the cost of any battery pack will start at around £5,000 for the cheapest I cant see too many people using their precious batteries for micro grid balancing.

With each pack being made from multiples(1,000s) of 18650 cells, its not a green way of doing things either.

I think EV batteries could find a use in this tech outside of cars once their charge capacity has been reduced by its previous use and replaced with a shiny new pack, that battery in Oz wont be copied the world over in the foreseeable future that for sure. But maybe the old batteries could be used as they get dumped.

For EVs its about range, whether the end user rents or buys its all about range. A car company signing up to let their batteries be reduced (damaged) by use that could be done in better ways wont happen.

If you say the average battery is £10k and you can get 1000 uses prior to range impact then before it becomes commercially viable the battery owner has to get around £7 for each full cycle...

Disagree all you like, its not a smart way to use up resources or cost effective.

Using cars as temporary power storage is a pipe dream with present technology. Battery usage and wear is about power cycles, why would you risk decreasing you range in your car for a negligible benefit.
With battery packs for cars costing £1,000s its not going to happen.

As things stand at 30March 19 they had $1.2 Mil Aus, so they half there. JP has a strength in financials and will likely raise through a short term loan.

What is needed does depend on how many tonnes of cement SML have for sale, it wont be enough that for sure, but im betting it is better then we think, for most just having some to sell is better.

Im not sure when that first $2mil Aus payment is due as it was 30 days from share holder agreement and then following note said the shareholder don't need to agree it so the deadline is unknown.

We are due a raft of RNS's imo.

I maybe SML will be funding the purchase of the remainder of redmoor with the help of LC.....

So we due an RNS on Redmoor re project, LC to say we have just sold XXX tonnes of copper cement, still an RNS to come on Hanns Camp and the other tenements there. Maybe an update on Cobre soon also...

Well cant think of any other excuse..

Renewable - I cant disagree, but there no straight line to a plan.

Also it depends on what your looking for, I still think 4-5p by year end will have been surpassed, but I also think there next year the chances of hitting double digits are there.

SML is frustrating, possible due to AIM games, but patience is key its all there for the taking

its a reminder nothing is easy or always goes to plan.

if it was easy to find customers for Cobre, freeport would do it themselves, patience will solve this not threats of breech of contract litigation.

As for LC, lovely. SML are now producing copper, there might be the odd hiccup along the way but look whats there and that they have a plan....

Cant beleive the price hasnt recovered given the drop back on some people uncertainty from the initial purchase

It's way off going legal imo. 1 month overdue?

I would also hope that the LC news is more significant than the cobre one as let's face it this is a mine SML own that's been bought back to life and will not be constrained by yearly concerns.
