to be fair it was a very expected RNS. little more than a confirmation or the agreement being in place.

Update on major client resuming collection, LC update and then finally update on other drilling programs and where we are going to go deep drilling as in my experience that's where the gold and good stuff is found and found in better quantities.

totally dvh. It does make me wonder about the magnetite availability inside the US as increasing the steel tariffs on imports will make US steel users look for home produced steel and that can only be a good thing for SML's magnetite sales.

So sales of magnetite are a little bit up from last year, but down due to the major client having issues, but the agreed payments in lieu of sales will address the loss of income.

Its a pretty good result to be able to have a client for less than a year and get them to put in place a payment plan whilst they cant buy more magnetite. Hope they can get the restrictions sorted.

My predictions for this share are......it will go down significantly.....my reasoning.....Im back on board.

totally agree about LC, to be honest I don't think the latest RNS was well thought out and should of stated about shallow drill results and being lightly exploratory - needed to be way clearer, take the latest results at GGP they went down to over 2000m I think

I don't agree, one not great set of results doesn't simply mean we shelve the project/s, this is why SML only paid a few hundred grand for the other half of the rights, you gotta get out there and find the minerals/deposits.... you cant expect great results first time round, the team that target the drill spots will have improving knowledge with each drill. Give them time - its something people don't share anymore....

Well it's never great to not find much in the drill samples. They will move to new areas it's all part of the game.

At 2g per tonne for platinum on its own I don't believe it's commercially viable, but it is another mineral to add to the collection should sml go mining there. Platinum value is actually around the same as gold. Good early indications so more work required, im not sure what people wanted. It takes a while to prove up resources and its only bad when it's not worth taking to the next stage.

Marshal you sound like lupidog. Everything can't be done straight away. We know news is coming on 3 fronts so why sweat it. Patience. To be fair there was no need to panic over a customer having regulation/paperwork issues. LC does not remain any worry for me. I have confidence it will be brought online. There maybe the odd hiccup as there can be with these types of things, but that's life and with a bit of luck it will be smooth. If in the unlikely event LC doesn't work out then the BODS will move on, you do have to take the odd risk in life, you due diligence it and make the best decisio you can. GL all

My view has not changed, maybe the immediate value of my shares has but it's only a figure.....I'm down for the first time in a long while....worry not.... As I said last week I reckon all will still be be profitable even without the big customer I guessed around $40k a month. Now if they don't resume I'm sure smg will source another customer or 2. LC news to come, Mt weld and HC drill results on easy too. GL All

Sml won t be making much profit until the existing customer resumes or sml fond another customer. One of which I'm confident will happen, but there will be profit coming in. I reckon around $40k a month, but that's a guess.
