It was in relation to the MM's not doing anything prior to the weekend - inferring that SML was not the winner in arbitration, just thought this was worth digging up so everyone can see the credence we should put in his comments.

I don't get why some people feel the need to be negative all the time?

We ALL know there are issues here, but that's why SML is at 0.6p and not 2p, the price is seriously underrated against assets, as confidence is key and seems missing, even the MM's got it wrong on the news of arbitration pay out.

I shudder to think what would have happened had SML not been awarded $21.9mil plus 15% per year for recovery.

DJ, my toxic quote was aimed at his first post, he's done the same on another board this morning, just like he predicted the dollar would "collapse" if USA got corona.

its early days yet...there is no point on going down the court route unless there are significant assets, SML would not bother, so we must wait someone, annoying, but step by step.

Changing the subject slightly I did see a article from the Daily mail (fail) regarding the suggested use of copper on things people touch like door handles as copper kills coro a within 4hrs. I shared a paper on this a few months ago....copper in more demand...

Do I really need to point out that this board is for people to discuss SML, most will likely be invested, that invested bit tends to make most people lean towards the positive, as if not most sensible people would leave.
Perhaps you can give it a little rest....its not your job to counter posts...

Fira, we don't need you to provide balance, this board should be more rampy than negative. That aside why do you care so much when by your own admission you don't own much and they didn't cost you much, if anything.

The mm's wont raise the price if people are selling, they want the cheapest they can get. they will wait to the morning of the RNS and raise or lower based on the rns. With the volume from SML of late, theres not much money to be made in gambling on the outcome, you have to remember there are so many larger volume erratic shares out there for them to make bigger £££ on currently.

There is also a possibility of delay, specially if the client has be vying for time from the first default, its maybe possible to use covid as an excuse for delay.

it was rising last week on a leak of good news. remember its month end and likely just some traders banking profit.

As for the Tax on CARE, SML wrote off a lot of money plowed into care to reduce their Tax bill, it was quite likely why CARE was shelved like it was. One of the RNS's did detail about write off against tax in doing so.

I cant see care unmothballed for some time as there would be a hefty tax liability. Shame really as all we hear about is how other miners are finding rich mineral deposits in WAus.

why do people here keep referring to the claim being $21mil?

it was $2.3mil outstanding, $19mil of lost profits of contract and punitive damage ON TOP.

Damages in US don't have a ceiling.

sml don't own much in GSN though if my memory serves me well, few mil shares.. someone correct me
