Whilst not pleased with the recent events, im not going to tell an MD what he should do when I don't know the full picture, I will just stay quiet and hope JP has a plan that involves using all the assets to the full potential, including staff.

Fira, gotta ask, I get where props is coming from, he is invested and being positive about his investment, but YOU wtf is your purpose here, you seem to think you need to be negative or at the very least counter anyone being positive. Why do you invest such time in doing so?

I even get DJ he borrowed money from his business and lost a shed load and is bitter and thinks he now has the right to down talk this share and the BoD.

CARE has been shelved due to $$$$ so I think you should discount that for the time being, so say 19 x market cap (your calculations)....

Cobre covers the expenses (and bonus's) and leaves a little left over.

LC expect to lose a share or offer a huge discount to a partner to get it going, its likely but not likely this year in my guess.

Redmoor will be held on for as long as possible before partnering or some other arrangement.

Share price spiked due to new customer and talk of Cobalt and lots of Nickel at CARE that was recently shelved to offset some tax against what had been spent so far.

The SP in 2016 wasn't as low as 0.1p more like 0.3p but still a jump.

There is a lot of negativity due to the boards bonus from last year, whilst it may have been set pre the drop, an astute MD may have shelved it until a later date at the very least.

Im guessing this has pretty much bottomed out now....

I still see SML as a viable investment, just that you may need to rein in your figures and/or ait a bit longer

I for one am glad JP has been silent as it would just stir up further negativity.

Lets hope we get some good news as this SP wont move up without any IMO.

1. Mining licences and environmental approval are not quite the same, but had they not been needing to mine a different area that's not been previously mined they would not have needed to conduct a PEPR to my limited knowledge.
2. At that point JP possibly thought he could go it alone along the existing area that was being mined.
3. JP's remuneration has little to do with a JV, why would they care? all they care about is, is it advantageous to JV a copper mine with their existing business?
4. The company was unable to speak publicly about who the client was, and therefore obviously not their situation
5. This doesn't need an answer as you are possibly alleging a criminal activity without any proof, the bribery and corruption act applies to him as any other person acting on behalf of a UK company.

Im not happy about the current running of the operation, but please ask proper questions.....

agame that our posts arnt helping, but ffs I can move on from the whole client issue, but its hard to swallow the bonus and total remuneration package. How does a contractor get so much for managing a micro business BADLY. He seems to have few direct reports, only 3 projects to manage, only 1 of which is operational, 2-3 other highly paid directors.

JP sorry pal I have supported and spoken up for you for 4 years, WTF were you thinking when you accepted this bonus, why did you not forgo this given the companies performance???

Agreed, I think his remuneration would have been agreed back in 2018 when the outlook was more positive. Any bonus should be linked to profitability of the company as a whole and be a small percentage of said profit. There should be caveats that deny a bonus if profitability doesn't reach certain numbers.

When the last options were set I was among the few that stated I thought they were overly generous, most were just thinking if SML made 5.5p then it was fine. it doesn't matter now thanks to poor financial planning by someone that has previously stated that's his forte.

JP act like a MD and make some hard decisions about what and who this company can afford.

dotcom, I don't think asking for money 37 times makes them a clown, you have to repeat and be able to demonstrate this, if im honest I think that's smart, what else could they do just give up???

I don't disagree with a lot that has been aired recently since the last few RNS's but lets please keep it civil. its doesn't help anyone coming here seeing us all (myself included) rant about things in a rude way.

I a "small" investor, I say small, but 6 figures to me isn't small, very much hope JP has grasped the feeling of most of the (possibly all) long term holders at the remuneration of the directors and state of SML.

No more BS, get to business and JP & co deliver on some of the promises from the last few years.

DV im as annoyed as you, only the day before I was sticking up for the BoD's saying mistakes or lack of forsight is forgiveable yet they cant seem to grasp that given the current situation taking a bonus is a **** take. DV don't go down the fira route...:)

Anyway, im done for now, lets hope they push harder to justify their rather large remuneration.

Philip Clarke was a CEO of Tesco that plundered the company, caused a fraud, which caused a huge drop in the SP and then took a multi million pound bonus and pension, but Philip Green is also applicable.
