I just find there matter of fact , lack of urgency and repetitiveness unbelievable, this comes from someone that has for the most part stuck up for JP and co.
I for one think its about time we either see some results for their large remuneration or they pass the control to someone with drive and the intelligence to not treat its share holders like kids/mushrooms.

I get that, but it would be hard to show he has bought or sold due to news when his holding remains the same.

I dont think moving shares into an ISA account would be considered buys or selling as his holding has not changed.

The tax man may have an issue if it's done just before a substantial move as it would decrease their potential through capital gains.

I would agree, the price would have differed more if I was 2 buys.

So you think someone else owning 50% is going to develop it and not want anything from SML with their 50% - not how it works, SML are far more likely to own more % this way once up and running. SML would still have to find a JV with only 50% otherwise...

SML now have some say and what the rates are where as the 50% route would have left SML being dictated to and very short changed.

sml was right to buy the remaining 50% of redmoor just that they couldnt afford it and possibly could have waited and got it cheap, but it was definately the only way to keep a good/fair share of the mine after they find a JV partner

Dont forget the metal fuel cells being developed they can be swapped over and have much better range

I'm not so sure on hydrogen either.

Lithium is notoriously dangerous yet they put half a tonne of batteries in a car so I cant see nitrogens storage being a big issue.

According to the uk govt no more new internal combustion engines can be sold after 2035 so either fuel cells, full electric or nitrogen must become mainstream.
