You're speaking maritime terms as though the FPSO were a cargo ship or a tanker. Which isn't the case.

The AM has sailed from Dubai to Rotterdam under maritime rules and regulations and will remain under the same rules and regulations whether she is being towed or under her own steam until she hooked up to the buoy.

Once she hooked up I would imagine she then comes under the OGA but I stand to b corrected on that one.

Another question on my mind that you may be able to help with is, are we sure that the Moonplate has been removed? I just can't see the logic of it being removed in Rotterdam, exposing the buoy housing structure to the risk of damage on passage. Surely they have the skill set to remove the plate at Lerwick or on station if the weather is calm enough.

With the size of the AM and providing she was well ballasted, you would hardly feel a force 8. She would also have the option to run up the lee side of either the British or Continental Coast.

Navigating the inland waterways out of Rotterdam would be a concern. but that decision would be left to the master after taking advice from the pilotage.

Just to complicate matters the further the destination displayed on the AM has now been charged to Scheveningen Anchorage.

The AM is having work of some description carried something that can't be done at sea or on site.

She not waiting for a weather window, if she was waiting on a weather window she would be moored or anchored in Lerwick a matter of hours away from the buoy, not 6 days away in Rotterdam.

Just my thoughts.

So we can assume that this is another sail-away day missed.

New World Dry Dock and Bluewater have a lot to answer for, delays at Malta Gibralter a short stopover at Rotterdam to fit the Flare Boom and remove the Moonplate which has now turned into another 3-week delay and counting.

Who is going to pick up the bill for all these delays and modifications that are taking place, are we heading for another Bond or Equity Issue and that is the reason the market is taking us down.

For the benefit of people who may not have noticed the ETD on the AM has been changed today from the 1 -1-19 to the 10-2-19 I think it is about time the PR Dept got its arse into gear and let us know what the hell is going on.

AIS Marine Traffic gives AM moored in Botlek with vessels itinerary stating departure 1 1 19 destination Rotterdam.

I assume they where bonus shares to be issued to directors.
