Re your post 17.36 that is exactly what happened, I have no idea about the ROV but she did disappear off AIS only to return sometime later displaying full details.

I'm unable to put exact times to my obs I was rather busy but I did check co-ordinates and she was over Lancaster

I had to go out early afternoon for a few hrs and returned to find her on her way back to Bergen.

If I remember correctly the wieght of the buoy 200t and the safe working load of the crane aboard theOZ is 250t qutite capable of lifting the buoy to surface for inspection if that was was the objective.

A couple of hours away from Lancaster, would imagine her script is to lift the Buoy to the surface an inspect the lifting harness and buoy for damage, whether she is capable of carrying out any minor repairs not sure.

You are putting your own interpretation on my post as for the company's opinion about shareholders, you I and probably a couple of million more are the company and have the right to be kept well informed.

As for gamblers anonymous the AIM has probably got worse odds than any Casino so any help that can be given to any new investor and fellow shareholders cant be a bad gesture

No,never been invested in PMO been with HUR a couple of years.

Not a pessimist still got a considerable investment in HUR but there are going to be many ups and down along the way.

Let's hope the engineer doesn't fall asleep he could be crashing out with the idiots.

Guys, it's great that the company issued an RNS after two failed attempts at hook- up.

The RNS gives some comfort to people who are overleveraged and allows them to get a nights sleep. There will be people on this BB who have opened spread bets and borrowed money to invest in HUR who believe it's a sure thing, and I hope it all comes good for them because I have seen some disasters in the past.

When reading an RNS we are reading what the company wants to tell us and sometimes it doesn't give the full picture, we have to rely on our gut feeling or what other people who you respect are posting.

If all else fails, watch the reaction from the market they very rarely get it wrong.

Been away for most of the day, just looked in and noticed AM draught has increased from 9 to 10.2 meters.

Can only assume she has taken on ballast to adjust her centre of gravity to make her more stable for the attempted hook-up or maybe someone can offer a reason from an engineering point of view.

You are right once hooked-up she then operates under the OGA Regulations.

As to whether she is hooked up or not it is prudent to wait for the RNS, there were a couple of false dawns on the last attempt but IMO it does look promising.
