I would hope Bluewater are using this delay to commission every line, pump, valve, and any other auxiliary services to ensure the start of feed goes as smoothly as possible.

Would have to agree, especially considering the deep sea salvage vessels they have scattered around the globe.

To be fair to both markets shares should be suspended during the trading hours of both markets while the RNS is issued, that way neither set of shareholder will have an advantage over the other.

Excellent pictures of the buoy pity we don't have pictures of the winch and the purchase rig aboard the AM, may throw a bit more light on the subject.

All good stuff guys a lot I agree with, some I don't, but the subject of the failed lift has been covered in full from most angles and will give most laymen like myself, a good appreciation of the present situation and the way forward.

IMO the reason the recent RNS are so brief and lack detail is a matter of, least said the better

Without naming names there are one or two treating the parting of the wire rope as trivia let me assure them it is not, I've seen a person lose his foot in an accident with a wire and a number of other less serious accidents.

Let's hope the OGA don't start their own investigation they could put a hold on the operation until all the lifting gear retested and re-rated.

I was told it was all down to the winch drivers laces being too tight and not enough skyhooks.
