The last position given for AM was as stated nearly 3hrs old she was approx 7 nm from Buoy co-ordinates at the time.

The weather f/cast I'm looking at gives less than 2m swell and sea state from 12noon today until 12noon tomorrow.

Atlantic Merlin, Havila Venus, & Jupiter, departed Shetland for Kraken, hive of activity today.

For anyone interested in things further afield the Atlantic Merlin and the 2 Havila vessels are sheltering east side of Shetlands.

Retrieving the buoy pull in rope is the simplest part of the operation, it's the rigging assembly over the MoonPool which is going to take the direct weight of the Buoy when winching it into the Locking Ring is the crucial part of the operation, I'm sure they have been through the simulation a hundred times and nothing will be left to chance.

Best of the weather overnight Monday into Tuesday, they must be prepared to work through the night.

I would guess the rise in the SP is more to do with the activities about to take place on Warwick and the rise in the oil price, than what appears to be a very short WW.

The AM left Cromarty for an attempted Hook- Up on Friday but the weather closed in and she had to return to Cromarty, so I think we can assume she had a rope in place for the Hook - Up.

Nice to see we have our guard ship back, the Morning Dawn patrolling the Lancaster buoy area.

Did notice Morning Dawn had left the area, there is, what appears to be an offshore vessel in the area but who she is working for is hard to tell with identification being via satellite.
Conditions have been pretty grim out there overnight.

The two Havila vessels that were contracted to Warrick are heading back to Montrose, gale force winds West OF Shetland at the moment.

Was not suggesting that bad weather would cause the sp to fall, but any delays caused by bad may have an effect on the SP.
I would say that is more of a possibility than turret being damaged by dead fish while the AM is sailing in bad weather.

It would appear GS orders have been changed she has turned about and her destination has been altered back to AM.
