George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Recent RNS releases have been encouraging.
With excerpts like "The results from this study are very promising and we're excited to be progressing the vaccine into its first clinical trial", "Sales growth well above market average" & "Reported revenues for the six months ended 31 December 2019 are expected to have grown to £50.5m (2018: £46.7m) representing 9% growth on a constant currency basis (8% on reported basis). "
This company does seem to be a bit of a hidden gem. Wouldn't surprise me if it starts to draw some attention.
You got me Googling "Occam's Razors". I realise now that I already knew them! Ok, eco friendly approach... "One in the bush, is better than two in the hand".
I agree - you'd think this was perceived and kill two birds with one stone.
Sorry to make you stutter Ophidian ;)
Interesting... So from a simpletons perspective how do you think that would that impact on a placing?
I work for a FTSE listed company and they don't RNS announcement of their AGM, but they do RNS the 'Results of the AGM'. As for investor drinks, since AGM's are morning affairs there are usually teas/coffees available and liaising with investors goes on before and after AGM. I would have thought that was standard practice?
@John - I'm hoping that the AGM has been moved up to coincide with news release & to have the board on hand to answer some of those questions you pose. You would think news would come in run up to or coinciding with the AGM, so I suspect the AGM is the line in the sand for that.
The website seems to have been in process of being updated recently, and being someone who works in that sort of industry I'm aware of how much back and forth goes on getting content signed off, and new pages may only be published on the day there is a 'reveal'.
Company can only definitively answer much of this, and hopefully they will shortly.
Considering we are all supposed to be investors here, all this bickering and slating isn't doing any of us favours in regards to potential new investors coming here and getting just seeing all this BB dissent.
I'm willing to take all views into account, but posting the same thing over and over is pointless.
John you've made you feelings clear, can you leave it at that please. Everyone else please stop adding fuel to the conversation.
Ok I was being lazy - figured out how to post the chart to Twitter (not hard). Drum roll... first Twitter post: @Slinkyfink1
Here is the URL : https://twitter.com/Slinkyfink1
I'm no expert with charts, but like many on here I'm sure I use them to get an idea about past trends & try to use them when projecting future movements. I've just been looking at the ALGW charts within a timeframe from Aug/Sept last year to current using the Tradingview (.com) Oscillators template - with Heikin Ashi candles being my fav. Have a look at the RSI 14 & CCI 20 indicators on that. Looks like a pretty strong indicator of what we might have in store in the coming weeks as they are at the base range and moving up. Obliviously this just follows the trend and doesn't cover things like outside influence, RNS releases, etc which could blow this pattern.
Ophidian: not to put you on the spot, but maybe you would be able to expand on this in ways that I'm not able to from my laymans perspective, ie. post the chart on your Twitter if it's something you concur on? You definitely seem to be the go to guy on the charting side of things!
Thanks again for sharing the info & insights you have compiled to date. Something which I imagine must take considerable time. Nice to have a fairly matter-of-fact commentary on this stuff from someone invested.
Thanks for the analysis guys. Hopefully the 'deramping' has now run its course. That with the MM's strategy turned made for one hell of a tree shake. Suspect we now have a good resistance base, comprised of solid PI holders and MM's who are relaxing having positioned themselves for an upswing. Suggests we could have a positive couple weeks, in the run up to the anticiated AGM & potential news.
Pls. Always interested in your opinion!
Not the BOD - nothing has particularly changed since last week IMO. I do get the feeling the 'day traders' have though, and I also have a feeling they will be piling back in shortly!
TBH I didn't even read it. Just Googled the last part of the link John posted.
It's from V0x M4rkets ;)
I give up...
Meh. It's on ********** .co .uk
Let's try that again:

Well my sentiment at the moment is "damn, I wish I had some extra £££ to get some more shares at this level". Already sold my non-performer shares to reinvest in topping up ALGW :) In my opinion there should be a nice ride up from where it sits right now.
Yep - think there are a lot of emotional trades being made...
