My post from yesterday was some write up to Wingovers message titled Maersk decision was removed. I contacted LSE to see if I had said anything too sensitive or broken protocol. This was the reply:- Good Morning,

It seems you were caught in the crossfire rather than specifically having one of your posts removed because you posted something you shouldn't have.

The reality is that QFI didn't have a watertight contract with them to deliver the LONO. If they had we would be in a far better position now. Anyway Buoy-gate has been and gone lets not continue to cry over spilt milk.

One of the topics discussed at the last conference call was the fact that QFI were still courting Maersk and knocking on there door like a jilted lover. I hope very much they like us get over this bad marriage and move on. This decision by Maersk may or may not prove beneficial. With higher fuel prices expected especially with LSFO and combined with competitors opting for Scrubber technology this Company may become uncompetitive in the long run. I guess only time will tell. For me its clear, QFI need to stop knocking on Maersks door and find a more willing partner.

Did I read somewhere that Mearsk were also trialling mechanical sails, wonder how that is going.

Why not sponsor Greenpeace to usel the fuel.

One of the virtues of MSAR was promoted to be its environmental credentials such as zero NOX and particulate emissions. Does EGCS diminish this attribute or does the fact that the emission are not produced in the first place, keep MSAR as an environment friendly fuel?
